Canadians are so lucky

I'm visiting in Montreal, and I love this country lol.
I really wish I could live here. Too bad that is but a dream.
The culture is nice, everyone here is nice, and the poutine is amazing...

I MUCH rather live here... than the states... -_- I want to leave my old past behind and start a new life. :x

Are there any Americans living in Canada? lol

oh, you know laval, actually i live in laval, but if you wanna go at Laval, in some GPS you need to mark Montreal not Laval, Montreal is like NY and Laval is New Jersey, like most of people live in laval and work at montreal, so its like ny - nj

Canada is just...not as good in almost every aspect of life. Top tier education? Nope. Sports? Nope. Musical Talent? Nope. (I realize modern day music sucks but I'm talking about the artists that have been produced over a few generations).

You guys just aren't as hardcore about everything you do, which leads to a more flimsy result.

And also, though it doesn't matter to many of you here, for those who claim Canada street life, don't even try to post that here. That's another thing; if you say you're a g and some tough fighter from Canada, you will be ridiculed very hard.

My sister once told me that when she gets older, she's going to move to Canada. Where you can leave your doors unlocked at night, where the people are friendly, and where you can ride polar bears to school.

It was a wonderland.

I was very naive as a child.

Was that person trolling? lol
I don't recall the old port and the gay district being in the same area. They are kind of close though. The gay district, or the "gay village" is around Beaudry metro.. it's pretty much in the heart of downtown. As for the old port (where there are buildings from the old times, boats and whatnot) is a bit off to the side of downtown, not quite in it.

Surprisingly cheap actually. There's snow everywhere do you can put it together yourself, and the local polar bears and moose help build it, free of charge.
