Battlemage

Notable Lag since Tempest

First off, I'm not talking about the main lag in towns and such that everyone experiences.

Comparing my other characters and my battle mage, there are some notable lag spikes whenever I damage enemies, teleporting around, or even jumping. My other characters haven't experience this same lag, so it has to be something with the battle mage. I had this since the first Tempest patch.

Any other battle mages experiencing this sort of lag as well?

edit:
other forms of tests I did but still have lag:
turned off all 3 auras, or have 1 or 2 on at a time, still lag
teleporting around town or a map with no enemies, still lag
attacking a single enemy vs attacking multiple enemies, still lag
turned off boogie and removed reaper buff, still lag
doubt its graphical issues since I experience no lag on my other characters

Fair enough. Better theory than I came up with. It might be dependent on worlds with the lag. Geez, there really is just too many hackers, just going through 5 separate maps to find one in each.

Yea, I gave up about the town lag. At least this is better than that mount lag back then. Of course if the town lag becomes the next mount lag, then I'm never going to afk at leafre again.

i love how town lag is so universal now that we've simply come to accept it as part of the game.

I'm throwing this out there as a possible explanation even though I don't experience this lag myself:

This could be because you're playing a bam, which is a class that's used by botters very often, like kaisers (which I've also heard have been having some lag issues and d/cing issues after the last server check).

The anti-botting system on Nexon's side is constantly tweaked to combat hackers, so it may have been tweaked a bit too much and you experience slight latency as the game is scrutinizing your actions to see if you're a bot.
