MapleStory Potentials and Miracle Cubes
MapleStory's Potential system is a way to greatly empower your weapons and armor beyond their base stats. Potentials add an additional 2-3 lines of stats to an item. If you're not happy with the Potential stats, you can use Miracle Cubes to reset the lines and get new stats. Additionally, the higher level the item, the better stats you can obtain. Not only that, there are 4 levels of Potential that an item can have. It is easy to see why it's called the Potential system.
The full list of Potentials broken down by tier and also the capabilities of the various Miracle Cubes are listed below. As an example, a level 140 weapon with 3 lines of Legendary tier Potential status can give the following boost: DEX 9%, Boss Damage +30%, Combat Orders Skill. If you're unhappy with that stat, use an Enlightening Miracle Cube to give your weapon the highest possibility of getting an even better stat.
