Talk to Corine in New Leaf City to upgrade your Taru weapons which can be obtained from iTCG codes or in FM. Each weapon requires a Spirit Feather, the weapon to be upgraded. Your pet must be at level 15 to upgrade to the 2nd level (-suma) and level 30 to upgrade to the final form (-magna).
