Inner Ability Question

I have the 1st and 2nd inner ability's unlocked. I also have 2 ultimate circulators. My bottom most line is ranked A and gives 4% boss dmg, my other line is rank C and gives some useless dex to int conversion. I wanna know if I use my ultimate circulator what exactly will happen? Will it make all Ranked S? Will it RESET all but only make the BOTTOM LINE ranked S? Or does it only reset the bottom line and make that one ranked S? Also, same goes for other circulators. If I have a ranked S line, but use a crappy circulator, will it make my line go back to rank C? If i'm missing out on any other information, please do inform me Thank you all in advance!
