Why do people hate Obama so much?

I think that the minority of people that hate him are racist, some of the people are band-wagoners on hating the presidents that haven't won a war for us or did something fantastically great, some of the people don't know what they are talking about and just decide to hate him based on judging him by his cover, some people don't like his bills and stuff (which is the only okay way to not like a president in my opinion ), and a good amount of the people are lazy/angry. First of all, the reason for the nation's debt is not all the government's fault, its also the people's faults. They are too lazy to accept the fact that you can't fix a large debt over a short period of time. They are mad because the government had to make job cuts and tax raises and stuff. They are mad that there is a war going on. They are mad that its mostly their fault that they are having financial troubles but want to blame it on something else.

Just my opinion. I think Obama is a good president. Let's discuss.

The answer is simple, he is the first man of color to become President of the United States. With that, everyone expects him to be greater than all before him. Obama himself made promises he hasn't made. Does that make him horrible? Of course not, he still has time. But the people feel since he is what he is, they have lost hope now that it's been 2 years. And that was Obama's platform, hope and change. They haven't seen it or as much as they want. People are expecting a lot more, and to make excuses, they just hate the man for not doing what they expected, Greatness. I think he is already great, great for his accomplishment.

People always find some1 to blame their problems on.

Seriously, no1 is perfect. I guess it is human nature to find something to complain about =/

Personally, I think Obama is doing fine. In fact, he's way better than Bush.

(And I'm Canadian btw, so I don't know much about politics, please don't criticize me too much)
@DrXbowman: Well first of all. He really did nothing about the BP oil spill.
Nothing for the war in Iraq/Middle East. Foreign policy is just weak.
Economic policy... most important of all.. the Health Care Bill. Freakin crazy.. how
can we afford national health insurance? We are gonna die. jk but seriously. That's
just complete left wing lunacy. Anywas, I don't really have any need to say anything
because these type of discussions are pointless.

To end this, I say that the majority
of those who do hate Obama is not because he is black. The majority of the U.S. is stupid,
but not that stupid. When alot of people lose a job because of a president assuming office, that says something.
And I ask, what could he have done about the BP spill?
Nothing really to say about Iraq
Left wing lunacy? Are you an extreme-right or something? Would you prefer people die because they can't afford health care, which is a right? And besides, name a country that has run into crap because of national health care.

And about jobs.
Less jobs were lost in the current Obama administration, than with Bush.

@ever If they did not, then environmentalists would go crazy. And you gotta help the nation. Just like how the government helps with disasters.
@ I agree, but the war was necessary in my opinion because we can't let terrorists attack us and not retaliate.

To be honest, the fact that nothing of significance has happened a la Bush is already a successful presidential campaign in my books. Now Bush was not the worst president, but don't ignore the fact that the "War on Iraq" had some...*cough* detrimental effects so to speak. As someone already said before, Obama's doing all he can with what he "inherited" so I'd say he's doing fine.

@ever Yes he did. He helped with some of the cleanup process by having the government pay for some of the cleanup.
Yes he did, he took troops out of Iraq. He may not be a military genius, but he isn't too bad with the war. He goes to foreign nations a lot to attempt the make a good foreign policy. I think its good.
He thought the bill would help and if it was passed, then most of the government thinks that too because they had to vote for it, so its not all Obama's opinion.
@ Ok, i can agree on you with that a little bit
@retorical My thread.

@demupuncher, maybe some people don't like mixes of races and discriminate against that. maybe some racist people only like 100% white people?

Lol. I agree. You can't be a president, snap yo' fingers, then think everything will be fine. Of course it's going to take some time to rebuild the government. And I have nothing against Obama for that reason. He's trying to do his best. I'd point the question to the people who say, "Man, look at Obama, he ain't doing anything." and ask, "Hey, you be the president and deal with all that crud." It's ridiculous.

I don't care too much either, but the bills he passes are important because he might do something to make paying for college easier or harder.
