And if that doesn't work-- friendzoned isn't the worst thing in the world. Just have to cut losses and move on while keeping such friendships alive. Or at least be clear with your motives when you're sure that the same feelings are shared rather than waiting out too long.

Also; befriend every girl you know. Don't be shallow. You don't have to date them but don't be mean. They may end up making you look good because girls DO talk.

Scenario:

1st girl:" Hey so and so is cute."

2nd girl: "Naw, he's such a jerk and so annoying"

But if you had made friends with the 2nd girl...

1st girl:" Hey so and so is cute."

2nd girl: "Yeah and he's soo nice. Like he did this and this , ect. "

In any case; seeing how you're asking for advice to get a girlfriend on a gaming site you're probably not too picky. So just be nice to everyone-- including those "uglies and d-bags".

Ask your grandma to go to prom with you. Nothing cooler then that.
OT: To be helpful,
If you're looking for a girlfriend, that just happens so don't panic or anything. If you just want to go to prom, you don't have to be head over heals for the girl, just ask a friend of yours to go with you. It's not a big deal.

Relationships happen naturally; if you're worrying about being in one its not going to work. Also as far as prom goes, just ask someone. The worst that can happen is rejection. You don't need to be dating the girl to be able to "have a good night". And for the comment above, you're not marrying her so going all out to ask her makes you look desperate and desperate to most girls with standards is a turnoff.

I would either go the A: safe way or B: hard in the paint way
A: go up to a girl with a couple friends holding signs that say like P. R. O M. ? and you're the question mark./ better if its written on your chests and all you guys are ripped as hell. Or you can go hard in the paint and go up to a girl and say you me prom wear something nice ill pick you up at 8 thanks and then kiss her on the cheek and walk away
