ultimate strafe damage output
So if you look at the [url=http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Guide-KMS-Big-Bang-Revamp-333.html#BowmanChanges]big bang guide,[/url] scroll down to Ult Strafe. It says
"Max level 10: -36 MP, 200% damage, 6 arrows."
Does this mean that it adds 200% damage to regular strafe's (150x4 = 600%) 600% damage for a total of 800% damage per Ult strafe for MM?
If that was confusing:
Regular strafe does 150% damage x 4 arrows = 600% damage
Ultimate strafe does "200% damage" = 200% damage
600% + 200% = 800%. Is this right? Or am I doing this completely wrong?

Yeah, thanks for that. I had no idea how pierce increased, just decided to go with a tiny increase. Even with tiny increase pierce=pwnage.
pierce doesn't add up like that. idk the formula after BB, but as of today, pierce's multiplier is 1.2. so, if you apply that to 1150% pierce, you get
1150%>1380%>1656%>1987%>2385%>2862% (per each monster it goes though, from 1st to 6th), and that's without crits, other multipliers, ATT/DEX...
hence the reason pierce can easily go over damage cap (and it's allowed too)
and pierce's capability to deal such huge numbers stops U.S. from overpowering it. with U.S. you're still highly dependant on your gear and it still only hits one monster, no matter if you kill it with one arrow, the other 5 are wasted, while pierce is a full fledged mob skill, you can deal very nice numbers with pierce, even if your equips are less than great. heck, you can even OHKO the last 1-4 monsters, killing a mob of 6 much faster than using U.S. (as of today, with nothing potentialled and decent geear, nothing too great tho, and 24 pierce, my top hit with MW20 and a war elixer has been 121k)
Umm... You forgot. Pierce is 1150% on the first guy.
+1250% on the second (assuming a 100% increase per guy, as pierce states that it increases in strength)
+1350 on the third
+1450 on the fourth
+1550 on the fifth
+1650 on the sixth
=8400%
A little stronger than 1200%. However, if you mean for one guy, then yes. Though it makes sense that a mob skill would be weaker than a 1 person skill to kill one person..

Seriously? Then that makes it stronger than the new Pierce (1150% up to 6 monsters)!
