Class X Was Op At Some Point in Time

If any class that was considered OP at one point in time removed from the game, what classes would be left?
Dark Knights, pretty much every other class was OP in comparison in some way at some point. Mages had ultimate spam, MMs have Snipe, BMs have Hurricane, Heroes dished out high damage, Palis are tanks, KoC got 4th job skills in 3rd, Sairs had their ship and RF, Buccs had i-frames galore, Sins had high damage output, Dits had some of the best combined offense and defense, and everything else was designed to be OP at release. DKs really only had high HP in general and high MP for a warrior, but not the offensive power or defensive capabilities to back it up.
Dragon Knights were big dogs before fourth job dropped.

EDIT: lol wonder if i replied slow enough

warriors left: page? maybe drk?
Mages: Bishop, F/p?
Pirates: Cannons
Archers: None
Thief: None

So pages were op for their defense, drk was once because of tiger and their new skill, bishops idk maybe because of genesis, fp idk a time, cannons idk a time either. so yeah basically cannons and fp are the only characters left
Well, I thought about this! Like, actually~

WARRIORS:

Drks - In the olden days, most played for a reason~

Heros - They are quite consistently powerful, but never OP in the sense that they could ks etc, so PASS

Pallys - Pass!

DW - were actually OP right after Big Bang when they could KS anyone at gallos, so NOPE

DS - ...lol no

Aran - Pass because they were never good at keeping/holding maps

Kaiser - HAHAHAHAHA

BOWMEN:

WH - I'm going to say no because of wild hackers...although if you don't count that, pass

BM - Right after 4th job was released, when they were the only ones with a Hurricane-esque move, they were actually considered OP. Hard to think of now, eh? xD

MM - Pass <3

Merc - Were OP in that short time span between their release and Ds release~

WA - Pass~

MAGES:

Bish~F/P~I/L - fail because ulti spam~

Evan - Fail because they're strong and great at ksing~

Lumi - I am not even going to write a description for this, man >

BW - Never that amazing, pass

BaM - The only other passer! Never too strong~

PIRATES:

Buccs - Oh, definitely pass~

Sairs - Um...personally, pass

Jetts - Yeah no

Mechs - OP when they first came out

TB - Pass, always two slow to become OP, even though they were strong

THIEVES:

NL - SO OP IN THE PAST, I WAS TRAUMATIZED

Shads - they've actually always been pretty balanced and/or weak! Pass

DB - they were most definitely OP when they came out

Phantoms - they were OP when they first came out, yup

NW - I'd actually say they were OP when they first came out since sins were still pretty OP at the time...ofc, might be wrong

So final list of never OP classes (IMO )

Hero
Pally
Marksman
Wind Archer
Blaze Wizard
Battle Mage
Buccaneers
Corsairs
Thunder Breakers
Shadowers
Wheres Mihile?

*looks at PvP*

@Lokiyll Pretty accurate list IMO. Only things I would debate would be MM's and Shads. Pierce on a large amount of monsters was considered OP, but I don't know if that's enough to call the entire class OP. Shads though... I dare call Meso Explosion OP. Only because it would tear through bosses if someone was rich enough to drop 50k bags before the boss spawned.

P.s. Basil is a bit... finicky with tags/codes. To bold all of the classes you listed at the end, you'd have to bold each line rather than bold all of the lines at once or it won't show up.

^True. Most people who probably haven't played pre-BB claim arch mages weren't OP. They were the one spamming ultimates and selling leech at leafre. I'm pretty sure it was Arch mages + NL's were the first classes considered OP

The term "OP" wasn't tossed around back then, so here's what the original "OP" was:
2nd job- Mages(Magic Claw), Sins(Crit, range, speed)
3rd job- DK(raw power), Hermit(same as sin)
4th job- NL("Top tier dps" ) Arch Mages/Bishops (Ults)

Then pirates rolled around:
Corsairs were thrown up there with NLs.

KoC came:
They were considerably better than Adventurers

Aran during Christmas, then Evan later on:
I don't remember people complaining about their damage. I could be wrong

The rest of the classes that came afterwards were stamped "OP" and bleh.

So, that leaves...
Arans
Evans
The other warrior branches: Heroes, Pallies
One of the thief branches: Shads
One of the pirate branches: Buccs
and Archers

Please. When 4th job was released after Mages, Bowmasters were considered OP or at the least, at the top of the echelon. Same can be said Pre-Mercedes. Currently, although IMO unwarranted, MMs are claimed to be OP.

@Bishops You guys were definitely OP with your no-cooldown ultimates.

Based on my knowledge of playing this game, the follwoing were never OP:

Shadowers; always been just about right.
Buccaneers
Wildhunters
Battlemages
Mihile?
Jett?'

@demunpuncher

Are you kidding me, DK were the #1 OP class in the game in the past, the only competitor was NLs. Thier is a reason why Tiger and Fangblade happen to be Drks.
