Get a good anatomy book (Bridgman, Hampton, Vilppu etc), study it.
Generally since no artist knows anatomy right off the bat, to draw a figure from imagination they should go:
Gesture (movement, flowly lines to capture a pose) -> Construction (3d, boxes, cylinders, spheres used like lego to make the body feel 3d and real) -> Line -> Render
This is what I did for my drawing, I replaced the gesture bit with half arsed construction tho:

I used to start out with just scratchy lines but its a lot better to build the body from the ground up then trying to start it with linework, unless you're ridiculously good, like Kim-Jung-Gi good
tl/dr : plan it out, approach it in steps and it'll be a lot easier than making it up and adjusting it on the go
omg, i love your style <3 do you have a deviantart?
just keep trying and practicing til u think it looks good enough

want fast proportion adequacy?
look at a part->draw it-> make sure it looks right-> draw everything around it with a size relation to the first part, then it automatically looks proportional.
It's kind of like focusing on just the whole picture, how everything "is", then switching to that small part your drawing, then switching back to the whole picture.
some people focus too much on that small part they're working on, and the entire thing looks weird.
some others focus on the big picture, and don't put much detail...
switching between them is great.
Eventually you get better from drawing enough, but of course without the idea of what's "correct", you might teach yourself the wrong ideas.
The nice thing about drawing in this age is that everyone else has already gone through much of the difficult parts. Plenty of tutorials and what not. I'm always looking through other people's art on DA to see what they did right, what I'm doing wrong, and trying to figure out how to do it correctly. The info is all out there, you just have to learn from it.
The guy i watch sometimes on YT for his "How to Draw" series generally doesn't erase in most of his videos - though that comes from doing it so many times. It's fine to do and redo - Ctrl-Z is your best friend (at least on digital lol). I might suggest against spending way to much time on one part though, but you'll definitely be redoing parts.
i mean if its something like hands and arms i use myself as a model
like if i need to draw the arm in a certain position i'll see where the elbow reaches on my torso
idk if that makes sense
