A hackers confession
So a friend linked me this video.

I know, it is 50 minutes long, but you don't have to watch it, just listen to it like a radio show or something.
I am not convinced he is the real guy. All the info he revealed is pretty much common knowledge. Also, 300k profit seems a little low to me, lets say 1 item is $300, he only needed to sell 1k of them, which is not a lot knowing there were a lot of different items being massively duped & sold in all the worlds.

@Ponified, hacking a bank will get you in jail, hacking on maple ... nothing's gonna happen to you. Unless you are stupid enough to go to Nexon headquarters and show it off.
About the money, 300k isn't even a surprise, craven, stonetooth, vss, nicksrock, etc, they were around $300 each, those are well known prices. I'm pretty sure there were over 1000 of those in all the servers combined.
But yea, I think that guy is a fake.

d) maybe he is not well known because he wants to keep his shady side hidden? IDK about maple hackers as I just came back but wouldn't logic dictate that hackers or any criminal keep their activities as covered up as they can?

I watched the whole thing and he seems sincere. Actually finding the dupe is the hardest part, exploiting it is fairly easy if you know what you're doing. And even though it's sad, some people do pay alot of money for items in the game. Lol the guy's probably a really good fake though.
