Nightlord

How can i make my Night lord Stronger?

I have a Night Lord LVL 100 (jsut job advanced) So my Hermit was super weak and i expected it to get much stronger at lvl 100 but apparently not. My att range is 2447-3765 which obviously sucks. I have a claw with 41 attack (ehh) my clothes adds like 12 attack. My rings and earings and belts and cape add about 15 luk. My thief is so weak. I have tried tempest equips but they are just the same? I am NOT funded. How can i help this....

@MostUnique:

- Character cards: http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Character-Card-System.html

- Inner abilities: If you click on the Party quest dimensional mirror, there will be an icon that is called 'Fight for Azwan'. There are a few modes available in which you must partake in in order to gain Honour experience which unlocks Inner ability slots. In addition to Honour experience, you will receive circulators that randomly generate new inner abilities (possibly at a higher grade, though resetting can change the grade of the inner ability.)

Some inner abilities will be more desirable and better for different classes.

- Monster card sets: I'm sure you are fairly acquainted with the monster card book. Basically, most mobs that you encounter will drop a card (and generally a familiar at a much lower drop rate depending on the level of the monster.) Well, each monster card is a part of a set which gives certain abilities based on the set you have collected. Some sets are noticeably better than others. If order to find out your collected sets, you can access the set tab on your monster book (and if it's grayed out, you need to collect a set. The easiest sets to collect are the Edelstein and the Rien sets. Though they aren't desired set effects, they do open the set tab which helps you make sure you're collecting the right character cards for the right sets.)

Also, a good idea is to do the Silent Crusade quest line. They give you enough potions to keep so stocked for a long time. Not only that, but you could also start saving up on the Silent Crusade Coins to buy the Mystic Set at level 115. It has a pretty good set effect, and best of all, it's basically free!

The best thing to do is keep leveling to max your mandatory skills. Once you're done with Claw Expert and Dark Serenity, you'd have 70% minimum range, 70 (30 passive) attack, and passive 30% PDR.

@GeEmEs has the rest covered.
There are some fairly cheap (and affordable) ways to maximise your damage.

- Professions: mass crafting and fusing thief equipment, belts and shoes can help you get a few %luk. The most cost efficient and easy way to get cheap %luk is by making level.40 thief tops and bottoms until you get 4+% luk on each. Do the same with belts and shoes.

- Link skills: Given there aren't many available at this time, try to make characters that offer these. Cannoneer's +15 All stats, +5% HP/MP, Demon Slayer's +10% boss damage, Luminous' 10% ignore def, Angelic Buster's +50% damage for 10 seconds (90 sec. cool-down) etc. Some other useful link skills such as Mihile's 90 second 100% knockback resistance buff, Mercede's +10% EXP + Elluel teleport, Kaiser's +10% HP are also very good to have.

- Character cards: If you have quite a few characters (preferrably level.100+ for the Rank S), making decks that give useful stats is a good way to increase damage. In addition, stacking same class (i.e. All thieves, all bowmen, - more importantly - All pirates) and same alliances (i.e. All adventurers, all resistance, all cygnus) give set effects which are also greatly helpful.

- Inner abilities: Going to Azwan and unlocking Inner ability slots and circulators can get you some desirable stats as well. Granted, it can take quite a while.

- Monster card sets: Most notably, the Mu Lung set which is fairly easy to get and offers a hefty chunk of points to your monster book giving it +4 all stats and with the Mu lung set, 2% chance of invincibility for 5 (?) seconds and 15% ignore def

- Empress' Blessing: Making a level.120 Cygnus Knight can grant you a nice 24 attack buff and, if you complete the Noble Mind quest, an extra 6 attack on top of that for a total of 30 attack.
Thanks so much! but can u go into better explaining? sorry im just a little noobish. Thank u so much tho this seems helpful.
I haven't played in like a couple of months, but if you get a better claw, it'll help you a lot. If you aren't too funded, try to get a claw with around 60-70 att. Then get some % equips like 3-6% earrings or craft some level 40 thief armor and aim for 2% luk on both bottom and top. Also try to get some 8+ att gloves and if you have enough money get the evolving rings. When did 4th job advance become at level 100? (just curious)
