Something Ive Noticed About Maple and Basil
I've noticed that my view on the community(as apposed to it's earlier years) have changed a lot. I play a lot less now, though. But when I do play I'm quick to jump on the deffinsave when it comes to other people. I'm either getting trash talked for having high dammage or ksed on my lower leveled, non-funded characters.
I rarley run into nice people and when I do I suspect them of being scamers. I still chat but the majority of chatter is me deffending myself. Ugh.
What happened? Have you noticed it, too?
Edit: The part about Basil is include in the part about chatting.* It's basicaly the same thing but Basil has more rude people. No offense.

You're probably right. Playing in Scania can be quite annoying. We should just have the big worlds have 10 or so more channels.

Yeah, when I came back earlier this year -- after like seven years of hibernation -- I still tried to share maps, chat with strangers, ask and answer general questions. Silly. KSers don't give a damn; I just go on defense mode whenever I see someone enter a previously solo map now. Friendly chat netted me some weird looks and even trashtalk, and questions just get ignored unless you demand a specific person's attention.

Not entirley. We just run in to more jerks more often. There are still a ton of nice people out there.
