which Ram should i choose?

im planning to buy some new ram cards for my computer, i found 2 cards that look good in my opinion,
they both have the same price and both are 2x2024mb 1600 MHZ
so my question is, are they both equally good or is the one better than the other.

specs card 2

i also have another question; my computer says (dell dimension 9150) the maximum amount of Ram it can have is 4GB, is it really 4GB or can i add much more ?

thanks in advance

Use
http://www.crucial.com/ , it's legit. I used it before to check my RAM. You can choose to buy their ram if you want, or just write down the type that they say is compatible and find it in stores.

EDIT: It also tells you your max ram and maximum ram per slot. You might be limited to 1 gb per slot.

It might just ignore the extra RAM (meaning you wasted the money for it), or it might keep the computer from even booting up.
Each motherboard has features designed into it which allow it to access just so much RAM. It's indeterminate what will happen if you exceed the design specs.
Not a good idea.

And like Qwan said, there are DIFFERENT TYPES of RAM depending on what kind your motherboard is designed to use.
You MUST determine what kind of RAM to get BEFORE you buy it because the wrong type won't even fit in the socket.

You need to find RAM modules that are marked as DDR2 for them to fit in your computer.

And about your original question, the best thing to do is look at the user reviews for the different brands of RAM modules to see what other people who bought them think of them. Pretty much as long as the specifications are equivalent, and the price is the same, it really doesn't matter which you choose, as long as they both get good reviews.

The RAM you are planning to purchase is incompatible. Your system calls for DDR2 RAM - not DDR3.
it's really 4 GB, it won't really help too much because your computer probably has a processor and graphics card which affects it the most. It just lets you open other stuff easier.
it's really 4 GB, it won't really help too much because your computer probably has a processor and graphics card which affects it the most. It just helps you open other stuff while doing something easier. Like... I couldn't play MS with a web browser up back then, then I got 2gig more, and I could do it alot easier now. The FPS lag(Screen freeze, etc) was really pretty much the same where I had it, like zakum.
