I broke my floor tom

Would a cardboard box be a good temporary replacement?

Music places like Guitar Center, etc. sell drum heads for individual drums in case one breaks. It's how I replaced the head of my bass drum when I kicked a hole right through it. Just make sure it's the right size.
If it's just the head, replace it a cardboard box would be as good of a replacement as a piece of string for a guitar strap. If you somehow managed to break the entire thing, then you obviously weren't playing correctly and should just give up.
It's an instrument?

I believe when he is referring to his "floor tom" he's referring to the drum set.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
