So now the Mts Closure is perma?
Recently a newsletter was posted on the MS website stating this...
As we announced back in May, the MTS will be [b]permanantly[/b] removed at the end of the summer. This is a reminder that you have until 11pm Pacific on September 4th to remove your items from the MTS. Any items remaining in your MTS inventory after the 9/4 maintenance will be deleted and cannot be retrieved again.[b][/b]
Back in May we saw this...
As of our May 31st update, we will be disabling the ability to buy and sell items on the Maple Trading System (MTS). Items that are still listed prior to the update will be retrievable after the game servers are brought back up, and you have until the rest of the summer to remove any items from your MTS inventory.
We'll also be removing World Transfer and Name Change tickets from the Cash Shop. Any requests pending before the game servers are brought down on May 31st will still be processed.
In our continuing efforts to protect the security of our players and integrity of the game economy, we had to remove these systems due to the malicious activity on the part of some users, which was unfortunately affecting the service as a whole in a very negative way. We shall be working on improving these systems, [b]and hope to return them to the game at a later point in time[/b]. In the meantime, be sure to grab your items from the MTS before it closes!

It's not coming back, MTS was just really unpopular and ugly.

OT: I think it is being removed but it WILL come back later, after they fix it up. Even if it does not come back, I think something like an auction house where ALL items can be sold on would be implemented.
I really hope they re-add the MTS, it was so easy to go buy some NX and sell 10atk's because they were so easy to sell
