Problems playing Maple on a new computer

So I recently got a new computer (about a week ago), and when I finished downloading/installing maple and try to play it, I get a terrible frame lag, to the point where I have to use task manager to close the game. The thing is I play world of warcraft with 50+ fps at all times... What can be the issue? I heard from a friend it could be the new gameguard (blackchipher) or w/e it's called.. If anyone could help me out it'd be awesome! thanks in advance!

@Economy: Although the Internet Lag may have contributed to the FPS Lag. Then again check your graphics card as well

I just got a new computer as well, and just finished downloading/installing maplestory, but when i log in to play, there is a DLL error code? anyone know how to fix that?

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? There's a tool for setting up the monitor frequency in maple too. Open your maple directory (where gamelauncher.exe is), launch "setup.exe" and follow the instructions. No idea if it's linked, but worth a try.
