Will putting my alarm clock closer to my head help me wakeup

If I put it on my bed close to my ear will it help? Or is that a bad idea and I would just be putting ears in jeopardy

[quote=Jenny119]I put it close to my ear.
But I tend to put like 20 more alarms after the 1st ones.
If I snooze it, 3 Min later my other alarm start to ring again.
Snooze it again, Another alarm goes on every 3 min.
So, what wakes me up is constant snoozing it or I tried to turn of all alarm one by one.
Which it takes a couple min...

this is what i do
i find it amazing how i can fall asleep inbetween snoozes, in like 40 seconds

This is what I do. I also use a clock radio, so I wake up to music or a talk show. I think those are easier to wake up to since I don't jump out of bed, shut it off and go back go bed. It's not as alarming, so I wake up more calmly and don't go back to sleep without thinking

NO! You'll be more tempted to just keep on snoozing until you're late for whatever.
Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to physically get up and turn it off. It's easier to wake up that way.

@Demonlord Bonus points for determination

OT: If you mean actually putting it ON your bed, you'll roll over it and wake up with the worst backache ever. Maybe in addition to putting the clock far away from you, scatter some Lego on the ground and spike yourself awake turning it off

Put it far away and have the volume increase the longer you leave it. That way, you have to get up to turn it off ;D

Uh if will definitely help you wake up, but I'm pretty sure it's not healthy. I do the same thing O_O.
