Paladins Defense without Shield Mastery
Hey pallies (: Without a shield and shield mastery, approximately how much defense would you have left? If any of you guys cap your defense without mastery, how did you do it?

As of right now I have about between 100-110% Str.
So that helps a lot too.

The empress set.. I see. Well, I guess I'll have to be collecting empress equips! That's true though, I think Achilles/Divine shield are our main defensive skills. And I couldn't care less about damage.. It just doesn't really appeal to me. Having high damage will ultimately... what does it do? Boss/grind/? It's so robotic. To me, I find it senseless to have ridiculous damage.
But then again, nice to meet a fellow 2H pally. I was beginning to wonder if there were any out there..
Btw, how much %str do you have? Cuz I do know for a fact that str gives you defense.

Like someone above me said, I have about 8k def without a shield.
Getting just the empress set alone already helps you massivly for starters, and second
I have two pendant slots with a Rising sun/HTP. Those two give quite a lot of defense aswell.
Those two combined will give you a ton of def already.
Not to mention achilles/divine shield will be good enough for you to survive really.
Those are the main skills that make us ''unkillable''. And we wont lose those when using a two handed weapon.
But then again... if you're more into damage and like blocking and whatever, I do recommend a sword and shield.
