Leeching from botters is against the ToS. Whether it's "bad" or not from a moral point isn't really relevant, but as far as the ToS is concerned it is. If you leech from botters they can permanently ban you from the game.
This thread kind of scratches the surface of rule #4, so I have to lock it.

I reported a certain person around the Empress hacking scene in Scania through a ticket, they actually responded to me saying they took care of it, and alas, that person was banned. They kind of do look at the tickets ^^. Though investigating 100 people at a time, would take a bit.

Both. I sent Nexon a list of about 100 people and literally half of them were banned.

I sent in a ticket. The ingame report function is useless.

My friend got a one week ban for it, he partied with one at scarecrows/jesters because he didn't wanna get a character to 70 but he wanted a link skill.
But honestly I think it's just frowned upon and I think of all those people leeching off the hacker as worthless.

Its just immoral.

Honestly, there's like four things to do in total in this game and leveling is one of them. What's the point of leeching anyway...even casually grinding you can get to 150+ in less than a month...You aren't even playing the game in the end.

OT: Yeah it is bad and bannable.

Yeah definitely avoid it. Don't even afk on a rope where there's a hacker leeching people. Gm's have said themselves that leeching from hackers is just as bad as doing the hacking.

Yes, partying with a hacker can get you banned. It's been proven plenty of times.
