for me:
shad: defendsive job/ dmg ok
db: attacking wif nice dmg job/ defend ok

Currently with minimum funding Shads outdamage DBs because of Assassinate. If you have a very good amount of funding (100%luk, perfect equips) then go for DB. Assassinate isn't fast enough to keep up with PB, and MC isn't strong enough to outdamage PB. Assuming you can hit max with with MC then Shad's are better.

Post hyper skills I'm not too sure. It's not reasonable thinking that someone would be able to hit the new cap with MC or PB. DB's get a pretty awesome hyper skill but MC could outdamage it if it could hit the new cap. Assassinate though has very high %Damage and can hit cap easier. Not 100% sure which one's better after hyper skills though :C

shadowers dont need skill books while dual blade does. so i wish u the best of luck getting the skill books if ur continuing with ur db o_o

But like, that decent katara would cost many many fortunes to replicate on a dragon khanjar. I mean, I've never even seen a 100+ attack dragon khanjar and don't even want to imagine what that would cost.

Perm pet + Perm AUto Hp solved my issues of dieing easily. When it comes to bossing I would prefer a DB over a shad since the faster I kill the faster I can get done with the boss. *I also have both* From experience its all about a person's play style. Some people can consider shads fun vs dbs not fun and vice versa. I don't see why people ask these questions anymore since there are so much topics revolving around them for the longest time.

Why you make Shad vs DB thread...

The main difference is that Shadowers are the tanks and DBs are the DPM. If you say you like damage, I think DPM will suit you more.

Anyways all the help was appreciated greatly, I might sell my claw and other stuff if i really get to like one.

DBs IMO are better but are really costly to get its skills; You gotta get them NX mastery books of spend you life looking for them in FM, Not only that but Phantom Blow requires are skill book which costs quite alot paired with Final Cut as well which both cost maybe 300mil? Plus I'm finding it impossible to even see skills books or mastery books for GAZED it prolly would be better for Broa. ATM I i can't play my DB because i don't have the funds for his skills books and mastery books
Overall IMO Dbs if you can afford it; DBs IMO have ridiculous boss potential if you fund them right.

@geogg2 well pb gets buffed during hypers and you're right about getting a decent katara seeing sheilds for shads dropped because seeing shads now is very rare
but imo i think you should go db and i have both a shadower and db so no biased opinion
db= better bosser, better mobber, more dmg, god mode (for now)
shad=fun, a lot of diff skills, will have better survivability when void gets nerfed, pretty good dmg
easier funding a shadower now compared to before, but a lot of stuff is cheaper because of deletion of duped quips and no one knows whats duped or not duped

DB will be better for you condition, albeit make a Shadower for fun! That's what i did, considering this is just a game.

PB = 200%.
MC = 147% (I think).
Meso Explosion takes time to set up, so MC is the main one.
That's y it takes more funding, because unless you can almost hit cap dmg per line on MC, it's weaker than PB.
Assassinate is good until you get to that point for MC that I mentioned earlier. Then MC is better than Assassinate.

Stick with the Shadower

DB's:
-More % dmg for skills.
-Stronger for un-funded - highly funded people.
-More avoid, so almost never hurt.
-Katara's can get more atk than shields.

Shad's:
-More hits than DB's for some skills.
-Stronger than DB's when funded almost to the max. (This is almost impossible for most people btw).
-Meso Guard.
-More fun to play.
Cons:
-One of the most expensive classes to fund.

EDIT: For you, I would recommend making a DB, because with your funding, you would definetly get way more dmg with a DB than you would with a Shad.

Db is more like a boss
Db can walk like a boss with two weapons
Db easily get girls. shadower struggle
