If I was to premium cube an epic item, after I cubed and revealed it, would it still be epic? Or would it go back to rare?

No, I've actually been playing maplestory for quite a while now, just look at my characters, and that isn't even all of them. I just don't normally cube, but I decided to start merching finally, and as a result, I have a couple of items that I would like to cube. You are partially correct though, without the 3x exp, I would still be in the 16x range. Thanks for the answer though.
