that's like my bow, i got unique in 3 cubes and landed 9% crit 6% dex 20% boss by 6 cubes, but at the same time my broken glasses have eaten 24 cubes and there 3 line rare. its all just luck. also i heard a rumor that the % chance for potential on items to go up to epic and unique went up post bb but i have no way of confirming that, so its just a rumor still in my book

Don't worry about cubes I've made many items from rare-unique in under 10 cubes but couldn't make an old HT pendant to unique with over 150 cubes and took over 150 cubes to make the pants on my basil ID. It is all luck and to be frank quite BS because of the cost is 1.2$ USD per, it adds up. There is mts but it still is worth the same price. I'm currently working on a craven, but so far it is still 2 line epic, landed 15% pdr reduction though :]. About 12 cubes in. When potential was first released all you saw was Paralyzes S> blah blah unique items in Broa got mad ass lucky and lost it all shortly after of dam karma? Maybe just bad luck Aim for a chaos helm they are so cheap now.

It took me 40-50 cubes to get my earrings from rare with 3 junk lines to Unique with 15% str.
It took me like 15 cubes to get my cape from rare with 3 junk lines to Unique with 3 junk lines, then like another 15 to get 8% str >.< cubing capes is tough stuff.
Next up will probably be my shield. I've already used 3 cubes on it so far, nothing good yet. Either that, or my gloves, so i can get Decent SE (even though they're only 2-lines >.&lt.

Cubing is hard on the wallet, that's why I limit myself. :x

For people like myself, I usually wouldn't cube 2 liners, simply because NX isn't something I get very often.
I would rather wait to cube a 3 liner, and deal with what I have at this moment, than waste my money on something I might regret later.
This is my opinion on the matter.
Why not wait and get the most for your money and wait for a 3 liner?

It's stories like that this that discourage me from cubing. :l
I think I'll just buy epic items and cube those for now on :x

Yeah, its pretty normal to take awhile to go up a rank unless you're oozing luck. I used 50 cubes on my hat and it just got to epic with 6% luk
