Fast, engaging, arcadeish classes

Title. Is there anything like that? I know there's Aran but really, all I see is FB > BB spams. I heard there's Hayato too but isn't he just spam hitokiri, the hurricane skill and the other 1v1 skill if he can't 1hko stuffs? I'm not too sure about thunder breaker. I meant aren't they just tapping two different keys simultaneously? I heard Zero has tons of cooldown and those micro-managing must be as irritating as hell, like you have to keep watching which keys blink before you tap them instead of enjoying your character doing all those sweet moves. Please correct me if I'm wrong because those are the only classes that I found to have potential to be one of these classes but the videos / threads / posts said otherwise.

Try a Hayato at 4th Job. I seen one train before and the movement was superb. One of the best mobbers/trainers in the game. Zeros are good too. Same in that aspect but Hayato seems to have more combos and they are not limited to CDs between skills. I don't know. They are more fluid than Zeros to me. Aran is good at chaining but I think there movement is not as superb as Hayato or Zero.

I still use 12 different attacking skills on my Hayato. Try those classes yourself and find what's best for you, dood.

You could try Mercedes. Make sure you're unfunded so it takes you more than 2 hits to kill stuff. And yes, you could just spam Stunning Strikes but its damage is lacklustre and it doesn't go through mobs.

I've seen some crazy combos people post like (not sure if accurate because I don't bother with these): unicorn -> enreal -> rising rush -> aerial assault -> leap tornado -> spikes royale -> rolling moonsault -> leap tornado -> nimble flight -> ?(other stuff maybe) -> gust dive -> repeat

@rtyu: i mean as a former zero main, it was a no-brainer for the combos. i even set up my quick slot so that i could just move my fingers in a clockwise rotation

Blaster, Zero
Hayato I'll recommend solely based on the awesome grinding capability. Check out @repentant at Skyline 2:

You're completely right about Thunder Breaker being two-button spamming, but it's still really fun in 3rd job and onward.

Give Blaster a try though. I love the class, and I have a feeling that we have similar tastes. It's kind of technical with all the skill canceling (which any Blaster should be doing if they want good damage) if that suits you.

Arcade games are pretty repetitive to begin with though.

But you aren't going to find a class in this game that's not going to spam 1-3 attack skills over and over.

If zero didn't appeal to you because of cooldowns then potentially blaster where you can do (shotgun>weave/Bob>jump)xn over and over to increase your DPS by about 3 fold depending on your cancelling.

Otherwise I'd say a support class (mainly bishop) where your focus isn't attacking anymore but keeping your team buffed, healed, protected and dispelled.

while zero is certainly fast and arcade-ish, its definitely not engaging. youll get bored of doing the same old combos over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

For what you are seemingly wanting (assuming that is the purpose of this) Zero would be the only thing that fits the category properly.
