Help with Macbeth ):

I have a quiz on Macbeth Acts 1-3 tomorrow and I think I'm officially screwed. I don't really understand what's going on in the play. My teacher said that the quiz would be a factual quiz instead of a quiz talking about imagery, irony, etc. These are the following types of questions she'll be asking:

Who the characters are
What is happening in the story
^Why it's happening
Explaining the significance of important quotes
Stating the speaker of some important quotes

Please, help in ANY way you can ): I'm screwed. Thankkks O;
Sparknotes is for gaining an understanding of bare bones and the largest points. Plagiarism is quite far from any of what he is asking for help on.
Umm, may i ask why you would use sparknotes if you were not desperately in need of information? I'm pretty sure a teacher has the same knowledge.

EDIT: And, I'm 100% sure a teacher would explain "bare bones and the largest points" if he/she were to give you a quiz on it.
Macbeth is one of my faves, its one of the easier ones to understand too =/
But here: http://nfs.sparknotes.com/macbeth/page_2.html
Students always use this
Where you're most likely going to get caught of plagiarising right?

EDIT: Unless you're using it legitimately somehow o_O

sparknotes.... it depends what class you are in. If you are in a regular english class you can use it, but if you are in ap/college course class, good luck passing.

that's quote isn't very important, sry ...
act 1: macbeth (i'm just going to give you the character analysis.)
This is when he meets the witches: Upon meeting the witches his character starts to crumble. He beings to have a fixation on the witches prophecies. Macbeth's reaction to the witches prophecies emphasize his ambitions and desire for power. Macbeth is also seen as a weak character because even though he wants to resist the temptation of killing duncan, he cannot stand up to this wife's taunts and manipulations.
act 1: witches: The witches are the immodiment of evil and ambition. They are the ones who awoken machbeth's ambition and desire for power. They symbolize destruction because they speak in half-truths, and by macbeth believing in them, he foreshadows his own destruction.
"lesser than macbeth and greater" ( 1.3) Banquo - less then macbeth in rank but greater because he has sons who can take his throne after he dies - his heirs.
act1: lady macbeth: in the fire solique of lady macbeth it becomes apparent that all she cares about is becoming queen and gaining ultimate power. To her manhood is defined by muder. She can be seen as the man of the relationship because she is a strong character whose boldness and masculine traits are almost are almost warrior like. Also lady macbeth will pursue her husband into killing duncan so she can fufill the witches prophecies.
read the book... just read the english version. Are the quotes going to be in Shakespearean or English?
Also just tell me which characters you need explaining, and what quotes you need explaining. It just happens that i had an essay test on macbeth , so i should be able to help you.
Uhh, the quotes will be in shakespearean. And the school doesn't provide the modern day english version x_x
For the characters, I just need the ones that we find out about up til act 3. For the quotes, I need explanations for any important ones. I don't really know what would be important though...OH! One would be "Fair is Foul and Foul is Fair?" |:
