And I can feel your pain too.
Had an exam the day before, and I convinced myself that they couldn't possibly mess it up that badly. Just 15 more woods and all of the feathers ._.
But hope is not all lost. If you know anyone who was still inside, they can teleport characters into the maps. But I can't find a source that typhoons are still in the game

You need to have the quests done and the typhoon feathers to create items. Feathers are untradeable so that severely limits possible crafters along with the number of feathers left. Taos are actually pretty easy along with the wood as they are tradeable. Taos are still rewards from CWKPQ if I member right and there will probably be stockpiles from wood somewhere from people who either gave up on crafting one or nearly finished one before the update.

Tldr: Taos and woods are easy to get as long as you pay. Typhoon feathers are nearly impossible to get and you need to have the quests done before.

the difference between the DRPQ weapons and the crimsonwood weapons is that DRPQ weapons are a lot harder to scroll and you need SoK to trade.
the DRPQ weapons are a lot harder to scroll because you can only use tablets.

well...i got laevateinn from the magician boxes in dragon pqs. Perhaps you can get crimson arcglaive from the warrior boxes? oO

I believe the largest issue are the Typhon Feathers which are only obtainable from the Typhon monster which was removed with the Masteria update a long time ago. At least

there are people who still have the Crimson Wood in their possession and can be traded.

Nope, still unobtainable. I've been checking every patch since they blocked it.

It can still be forged, however, only for the people who finished Fiona's prequests for crafting those special weapons. If you haven't done the prequests before NLC got that whole alien makeover, I'm sad to say you won't be able to make it . Unless you find someone who finished those prequests. Tao's are out again, all obtainable from CrimsonWood Keep Party Quest. Not many people sell Tao's if any at all, since only a few select people now can really forge the weapons. Hope this helps!
