Do marksmen ever use snapfreeze shot in 4th job?
So I'm just redistributing my SP right now, and I'm wondering if there's even a point to maxing snapfreeze shot (blizzard) if I'm already level 165 and I have maxed pierce. I can't think of when I'd ever use it, and I think maxing mortal blow and dragon's breath is more important at this point.
Any opinions are appreciated. Thank you
tl;dr: Should I leave snapfreeze shot unmaxed and max mortal blow and dragon's breath instead?

@SoulStreak: No I meant Blizzard, I said nothing about Pierce o.o. But yea, Blizzard and Puppet an xbows BFF back then.

If the enemy isn't frozen he reduces you to ~100 hp? I remember that.
if you mean not having pierce marksmen always had pierce. since the time marksmen existed(4th job).
Well, between mortal blow and blizzard, I would pick mortal blow. I have seen it save me alot in the few hilla runs I have gone. For me though, I think I maxed blizzard and mortal blow instead of dragon's breath.
You youngins got it easy. Back in my day, a Marksman had to use Blizzard all the time or die.
It depends on the situation, really.
For places like ToT, I use blizzard/AE/DB for quick mob killing since I one-shot the regular mobs anyway; kinda pointless charging up PA for it and even just tapping the key for it has its own delay (as well as not doing as much as the mentioned skills, sometimes not even killing the mobs in one go).
Maxing MB on the other hand, is a bit pointless since it doesn't work on bosses and regular mobs only. Whether you're unfunded or not, you'd one-hit kill regular mobs in the end anyway.
Sometimes yes and no, You dont really freeze anything unless places like ToT. But by then. you would have maxed piercing arrow. Does'nt be used. I use dragon pulse @ LHC so when i got SP reset, i maxed dragon pulse and not Blizz.
@Thenubbies: Well I maxed dragon pulse since I use it regularly to push mobs, and why not get a little extra damage while pushing? It's obviously not used as a mob attack. I was just trying to decide between mortal blow and blizzard.
Lol all Blizz, AE, MB are useless once you get 4th job Piercing. Dragon Pulse doesnt have that much use either once your Piercing is strong enough to kill all.
They only have a slight use in PvP for the very small chance of slow/freeze, seal, and push.
You should've maxed breath since champions regardless of level.
No...Back then, I've only used snapshot freeze during dragon pq when I party with 200s and I couldn't kill the mobs with 1 hit using piercing arrow. I can 1 hit all the mobs now so I haven't used snapshot freeze recently.
