What level should my mining be if I want to have the highest drop rate of ores from Purple Veins?

10. Possible to mine at lower level but success rate is REALLY bad especially at 7-
Ideally, you want mining to be maxed out (which has a max level of 10) when farming purple veins. Not only will it be easier to mine these, but it isn't very expensive to accomplish that. I'd say a good 5M~ should get you to max (inc. fatigue potion costs.)
