How to make money in Maplestory

I accidentally clicked "lock" on the other one so i made a new one.

This is how to earn money in maplestory. I am going to continue and it might take a long time. Whenever it stops you are gonna be like "thats it?" but im going to continue. I hope no one will "troll" like last time.

[header]Rare Items=Money[/header]
[b]A lot of people know that rare items cost a lot of money.[/b] If you can get one of those items you would be rich in no time. I will list a few of the things that many people buy it for couple ten to hundred mills.

[b]Empress Set[/b]. If you are a high level around level 185 go finish the prequest. Then you set up the party or join them and eat all the weapons and items that the cygnus empress drops. If you can't then you are screwed. You blew the potions and all those items and hours of work. [b]So make sure you survive and spam eating. Average Price: 50 mill~ 300mill. Rate: 11/10![/b]

` [b]Vip/ Unwelcomed guest items[/b]. If you are an old mapler and did the vistor pq before and got the vip/unwelcomed weapons, You are in LUCK! You can probably sell them for couple of mills. Alot of people use these items and make it godly. Anyway sell these and be rich! [b]Average: 50 mill~250 mill depending on the item. (for the record i mean the level 127 ones not the 47 or 67 ones.) Rating: 9.5/10.[/b]

[b]Maple Warrior 20/30[/b]: These are the most expensive and always will be the most expensive Mastery books. (Maybe except when Nova Warrior Mastery books comes out. Off topic). [b]Anyhow these books are extremely hard to get[/b] and always in random prices but i can assure you that when you get this Maple Warrior and sell it you will be rich. [b]Average: 200mill~xxxmill. Rating: 8/10.[/b]

[b]New Items/Mastery books[/b]: These are really expensive when they first come out. Especially when a new character comes out. When I sold my Mille Aiguilles 30, I got 35 mill. [b]Mastery books are the best because they can be ultra cheap to crazy expensive[/b]. [b]Make sure that you sell new mastery books when it comes out because a month later they are 1/4 of the original/new mastery books. Average: ?~?. Rating: ?/10.[/b]

[b]Zakum/Targa/Scarlion Hats![/b]: These are probably cheap now but its still worth it. There are 2 problems is that it requires [b]NX[/b]. You have to get platinum scissor and make it trade-able. Another problem is that the prequests are really hard. You can search it in youtube for help. [b]Average: 75 mill~120 mill. Rating: 7.5/10.[/b]

[b]Ores[/b]: This is probably the easiest way to get money. You just mine Lidium or Wisdom/Luk crystals and sell it for a lot of money. You can also raise your mining level too. But you need quite a high level of mining to mine the rocks succesfully. [b]Average: 1m for lidium, 2 mill for Wisdom amnd Luk Crystals(fully forged not pieces). Rating: 8/10.[/b]

NX: problem: costs real money. This way sucks. I would just get 3k of NX and use the unique meso sack that can get you up to 750 mill. Average: ?~?. Rating: 0/10.

[header]Potienial Items![/header]
This is your deal. Not as good as Empress or other weapons but this is decent. You can only get a lot of money if you get high % stats. The easiest ways to get them are:

1. [b]Crafting items can give you potientials such as Smiting or Accessory Crafting[/b]. (For the records the higher level you are in Smiting or Accessory Crafting the higher the chance of getting a potienial. If you are in level 10(Max level) for either of them you get 25% of getting potienial when crafting an item. The most common thing that gets crafted for % are Half Earings. They are really easy to make and can get a lot of money off of it if you get same 9% or higher.(ex: 6% STR with 3% STR)

2. [b]Use a potienial scroll[/b]. They have all kinds of it. It a purple scroll not pink but purple one that says potienial scroll. It can be 70%, 90%, or 100%. Of course the lower the percentage the lower the price. How it works: Do you know one of those red lines around your item box and says "Hidden Potienal" and you have to use the glasses or whatever? These scrolls add the red lines around your item box and gives it "hidden potienial" status. These are really good because you can get really good potienials.

[header]The worst to best potienials[/header]
Rare: worst; almost always get it.
Epic: second to worst; pretty easy to get.
Unique: good; this is so hard to get. I never got it. Its insane.
Legendary: you need a cube that requires "NX". God another one of nexon's scheme.

[header]Leeching[/header]
This is decent too except that this is unreliable way to get money. First off they will ask you to leech first then money then they flee. Second, they will be like this at the end if you are done leeching. "oh your range was low and i wasted my time so i'm not going to pay you." Then they flee. The easiest way to get money off of leeching is you get the money first and leech them. For the record this is pretty hard since you need high range. You also should not trick them since a few people are basilers and will report you like on a forum. The forum would say "Watch out for (your name), he tricked me in to leeching. He is in blanky blanky world.
Here are 2 ways of leeching:
1. You just sell them off while the person hangs on a rope.
2. They train with you but they provide the buffs like a phantom.

The second one doesn't happen a lot but it does happen. I saw it tons of times. But i prefer the first one.

[header]Godly weapons[/header]
This is where it gets tricky. In case you don't know what godly weapons are they are extremely good weapons that have 2 stars with stars around it. They are extremely hard to make since it requires nx. In order to use the godly weapons you need scrolls like +5 weapon attack scrolls or +8 weapon attack scrolls (For the record the higher weapon attack it is, the more expensive the item). You have to scroll them and ALL of the scrolls need to be successful. This is really hard to explain so i will give you a link.

[header]Buy low sell high(Profit)[/header]
Like many people say, you buy low and sell high. I was really nooby once. I accidently bough a bathrobe thing for 500k! It was dumb. now i will give you some preference to get a profit. You also need the "Hired Merchants(NX item)" to sell things efficiently.
Here:
1.Buy the bathrobe in showa town for 30k and sell the bathrobe for 250k.
2.Get bunch of your useless items that are level 60+ and use the extractor and get intermidete crystals. Sell the crystals for 50 k each.
3.If you see any items that are cheap (ex. buy 100k maple katara and sell it for 300k~500k.) and sell it.
Thats about it for profits.

Very Decent way to make money too. You go to the free market and you say S>(your item) and wait until someone buys it.

[header]Noob Way to make money[/header]

When you are a high level and can go to the aliens, people never eats the money. Spam eating the moneys.

This is suggested by Frankk thank you again.
There are many events where you can buy items. For example, evo rings, renegades, and all that . By using those you can get lots of money. Right now evo rings are extreamly costly and are wanted by many people. For renegades just about a month or two ago renegades' cane was extreamly expensive and went up to 50 mill.(thats alot for poor people. Including me.) There also will be many other events where expensive things will come out. Thank you again Frankk for putting up the suggestion.
