Attention all Mages who use Elewands/Staffs
Dear Elemental Mages,
We have received numerous concerns from the community about the changes to elemental staves and wands. Players have noticed a reduction in both the elemental bonuses and penalties with using elemental staves and wands. This change was intentional and essential for game balancing. After the classes were rebalanced for Big Bang, these weapons were too strong and therefore changed to achieve the goals of Big Bang. We understand many mages depended and used the elemental weapons as part of their game strategy. Because of the sudden change, we are working on a solution for our elemental weapon players can benefit from. It is currently a work-in-process and once the plan is finalized we will share the details.

Well, I guess it diversifies my I/L's weapon options until I hit 163 on it. I would expect Elemental Weapons to eventually give something like 5% bonuses, though.
...Wtf did I spend all of my mesos on then? :c
