So, how about that colorblind option, huh?

Anyone else remember that? Nexon sure took big strides to get that feature in...
Well I generally just know which pot is which and where it's located on my keyboard without having to look.

@above: Explain to me why my room mate can't tell the difference between red, yellow, and orange?
wth? Do they put all the Coloblind people together at your school?

Half of the arguments in this thread make no sense.
You are ALL stressing this too much.
Just because a person is colorblind does NOT mean they can't tell the difference between, oh say, a power elixir and a barbarian elixer, mana bull, etc.
If you check out the video "A Day in the Life of a Color Blind Mapler," it shows screenshots of maplestory from different terms of color blindness. THEY CAN DISTINGUISH COLORS. This thread has no meaning that is sufficient.

Don't believe me? Search it up on Google, YouTube, anywhere.
COLOR BLIND PEOPLE CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COLORS. THEY JUST DON'T SEE THEM RIGHT.
many people CAN'T tell the difference between several colours. ignorant/unspecific comment.

Well I don't put training or bossing under "fun" in my book.
@germy300: Yea, let's all NPC your onyx apple because it looked sorta like your normal apple, or the unripe onyx apple.
I'd put attack pots under "used frequently" in my book.

Besides, you're not going to carry a normal apple. They heal 30 HP.
You're not going to carry a green apple. They heal 30 MP.
If you're going to carry normal Onyx and unripe Onyx, I'd hotkey one of them until they're used up or hotkey both. I never manually go into my inventory to double click attack pots.
@germy300: And the not so frequently used pots?
I wouldn't hotkey them and probably'd NPC them 'cause they're taking up space.
Thats why theres a description and not just a colored potion that doesn't state what it does.
yea, im not gonna "fight" about a stupid potion issue, but you're just being ignorant. You dont have to hover your mouse above EVERY sing pot u have, just to see what pot it is..
It really is irritating, the petition was just for people to understand them.. how hard it actually is for colorblind to play a game -.- not just maple every other game. and tv show and road signs.. I know it has nothing to do with maple but still. just think about it.

@LibbieAnne: And if it's an attack pot you occasionally use, you don't wanna waste your (1.2x is used) looking through your inventory for the attack pot.
@iNubbed: If you're running out of hp, and you're fighting something, do you have 4 seconds to hover your mouse over each pot to find out which one heals hp? First you go to, it's a mana elixir, second, mana bull, third one, oh it's a power...DEAD.
I usually put my frequently used potions on hotkeys. I'm not sure about the rest of the Maplers, but I'd encourage to do so as it is very convenient.
Could I ask how bad colorblindness is tough on maplers?
Power elixirs, sorcerer elixirs, mana bulls, ginger ales, barbarian elixirs all look the same.
Warrior, thief, mage, and Archer potions all look the same.

there are different kinds of color blindness, but most of em cant see the difference between pots ( hp / mp, honostor barbarion power elixer and stuff) and scrolls ofcourse.
well actually alot of others things.. the girl that started the petition made different videos with the different colorblindness point of view.. it really looked bad..
There's a colorblind option O_O?
Awhile ago there was a Basil thread, with a petition for colorblind options in MapleStory. This petition got pretty big, lots and lots of Basilers signed it, heck, Nexon even acknowledged it and mentioned the petition on MapleStory's FaceBook page.

The people who supported the petition then embraced their victory for having a colorblind option in the near future...
