@TheMo: Like I said, I waited a while, give it 1hr max Find something else to do in the meanwhile, that's what I did, I left my computer alone for a while.
I'm not sure about the exact time it took mine to load..I'm guessing mine was 15-30min.. o.o..probably more not sure I didn't put the timer on

its been 13 minutes already.

@TheMo: At first, I didn't know it would take that long, I thought it was my antivirus blocking it because I see it on my task manager process, but I don't see the box anywhere..so I restarted my laptop a few times and same thing happened, my brother kept saying "oh well, guess you'll never play MS again "
It did freeze my laptop a few times when I was impatient and kept clicking around..my suggestion is you just let it load.
Idk how long it took mine to load, but I walked away for a bit, and when I came back- woahla~

Im almost up to the white box

I didnt have this problem waiting for the white box to load until a few weeks ago

@TheMo: Well originally my laptop is Vista, then I reformatted it to XP, so I had to install MS again.
It did take forever for it to show up on my laptop. I clicked on it, I actually have to wait a while for that white box to appear, then the box itself, I had to wait some more time for the "license agreement" thing to show up.

Just double click it, walk away, watch TV or something then come back later, that's what I did

Yes, right after you download, you need to install it. I'm talking about the installation.
Not the "loading screen"

When I first installed MS on my old laptop, it took awhile for it to show up too...just wait for it.
For me, it probably took like idk 15-20min I just doubled clicked on it and walked away to let it load.
