I wanna dye my hair pale pink
I was told that pink hair would look good on me and now I really want to dye my hair pale pink. My hair is brown and I have never dyed my hair, but I want to know how stinky the dye liquids are, and would love to get some product recommendation. I know I have to bleach my hair but how stinky would bleach be? Would it stink like Clorox? I'm Asian and I personally think I'd look good in any hair colour.
My mom is super conservative, but I never listen to her anyway. After I return home from college for summer, would she kick me out of the house?

i'd opt to have it bleached professionally only because it can be really damaging if you don't do it correctly (also it's exceedingly difficult to adequately coat the back of your own head in the stuff so you'll likely be left with unsightly unbleached strands), but the dying is easy enough that you'd be able to do it yourself. bleach of all kinds smell awful no exceptions so that's just something you'll have to tough out, but there are plenty of malodorous dyes out there... manic panic is my favorite because it's vegan and doesn't damage hair, plus they've got a huge selection of colors to choose from. i'd recommend diluting their cotton candy pink with some white conditioner to achieve a pale pink; their dyes are very saturated so if you apply it straight out of the bottle you'll end up with bright pink hair although it'll fade to a pale pink after a dozen or so washes

That's an incredible idea! That way I don't end up crying all night if I do end up looking like a clown.
If I were you I would take a picture of myself, upload it to photoshop and change my hair to the desirable color. That way you can see if you like it, or if it's not the right color (:.

No, most Asian girls I've seen try to pull that off and it never works. I've seen the horror enough times.
But you could still go for it if you want and you think you can really pull it off, because quite frankly I don't know how you look, and I could be wrong
you will have to go to the salon every month to get your roots done in order to maintain it
unless you dont mind having your brown roots show

I'm not sure you should get pale pink because it's quite a unnatural colour, but if you really insist you should get it done professionally at a salon.
