Revamped Knights Of Cygnus Thoughts

So what are you guys' thoughts so far on the fact that, the revamped knights of cygnus do not require mastery books for their 4th job skills?

I want my flame wizard! But this is a really nice change for KoC, remove the mastery books for all the jobs, to be fair, with that I'm happy.

I love the no mastery book requirement. Stops that cycle of the entire market being dedicated solely to the books of the new/revamped class, and no absurd prices that I can never pay.

Not to mention I'm going to absolutely love Blaze Wizards now that they can be an end-game option.
I think the revamped KoC are a great idea, many people have always looked down on them as a mule for attack (Not even mentioned as a class), even though if people really got into them, they wouldn't be as bad as people say. The new level limit and power-up makes them equal or perhaps stronger than the current classes.

On the other hand, the fact that they do not require Mastery Books is quite unfair in my opinion. Since their creation, they have always been looked down upon and created for attack mules. Now that their restriction has been removed, they're classes just like any other. But to not give them Mastery Books is putting them over the balance limit. (Even though it's not much, it's still something) Players who aren't wealthy will flock to these new KoC's because now they don't need to worry about MW30 or such. I believe this sort of removes the attachment of a player to a class, simply because the other is cheaper to make.

TLDR Good idea, but unfair for no mastery books.
I say forget the masterybooks all together. Needing the skill books is one thing, but mastery books aren't even 100% and are only obtainable through MMBs so it was never fair to begin with. I doubt someone will play a class they don't enjoy simply because it doesn't need books. What Nexon needs to do is remove books all together or place them back as monster drops so everyone can get a chance to obtain their books without having to submit to some of the ridiculous prices people try to sell them for.

The new Knights are a step in the right direction, now give everyone else revamps and remove the need for mastery books and Maple will be balanced again.

I'm very excited for the rest of them. These classes are representing some fresh new ideas, and very vibrant animations compared to the recent ones released. I can't wait to see how Night Walkers turn out mostly, just because it seems hard to do anything major with that. Dawn Warriors will be interesting to see, because Warriors are getting more and more badass each time one is released. Blaze Wizards... I'm not so interested in, but I know they'll be the absolute most well done.

As for Mastery Books, I find that an interesting choice. Maybe they'll remove the need for them universally. In any case, it's not that big a deal since the randomization of Mastery Books made them balls cheap. It's the next logical step for the future of classes in Maplestory.

This is what you typed. What I read was: "Unfunded people shouldn't be allowed to have fun. It's unfair and people are gonna play cygnus knights just because they're cheap"
Why does this even matter? Did you spend billions on failed mastery books? Are you sore? It's a great improvement for the game; an adventurer won't need MW as bad due to there being a Cygnus with it. There's tons of players who can't make money, abuse the free market, and refuse to dabble in dirty schemes (Im looking at you hot-time get rich quick abusers)--Cygnus Knights would be a viable class for them. Not to mention the best character for anyone new to start with.

I do like the idea of revamping them, gives them more storyline maybe as a KoC, but i feel it will take away from adventurers once again. I will admit i am looking forward to striker because i failed horrendously as a bucc before, but the wind archer kinda bugs me-the mobbing hurricane is hideous plus screws over BMs completely, and there's one arrow skill that operates like a lumi's first job dark orb sill, the one you could move back and forth on a map? Anyway, but the fact that they don't nee books is complete bs. I understand why they might be revamping KoCs but at the same time they are killing explorers AGAIN.
Eh their just overpowered. They so far are fantastic revamps it is just insane, I mean come on a mobbing hurricane?
Not to mention a 5stage attack speed increase, if that matters much for a skill like hurricane.

The skills look really nice and I have a bad feeling that they will out cool their Adventurer counter-parts, but I'm a bit excited.

The no 4th job mastery books really just pushes it, though. That's a load of crap.
