Extraneous discussion isn't going to help him get his computer fixed.
He needs to take it to a local computer shop and have them check it out and fix it.
@oneup11: From where? There's no way you can find those parts.
@thedylan: Whoops...
Well when I press the power button there's nothing.....
No light, No noise, Nothing..
Also I live in the US and I have a budget of about 800?
Also I'm gonna play maple, and go on the internet and that's probably it lol maybe some other stuff
Fixing your current computer will be a lot cheaper than buying a new one.
However, it will still be the same old computer you've had before.
If that's OK with you and it does what you want it to do, then there's not a lot of point in spending a lot of money on a new one.
It's really hard to tell just from what you've said (without being able to look at and in the computer) what's wrong with it, but I have to agree with the others that the most likely problem would be that the power supply died.
You could replace the power supply yourself, but if you've never worked inside the computer, and don't know what to look for to verify that it's the power supply that needs to be replaced, probably the best thing would be to take it to a computer shop where they'll be able to make sure exactly what's wrong so you don't end up replacing the wrong thing and still have it not work.

When you press the power button, does it turn on at all? Like all of the fans are spinning, but no display? Any beep codes? Or it is not responding at all?
If you are able to look into your case by either opening it or looking through the vents, can you check to see if there's a yellow-ish green light? Generally, there's a light on a mobo to tell you if it getting power (well, at least getting it from the +5v rail from the power supply).
But yeah, since it is no longer in warranty, you may need to take it to a computer shop and have it serviced for you.
If you want a new computer, we need to know your budget, where you are from (US, Canada, etc), and what you are planning on doing on this computer (be specific. If you going to play a game, list the game).
As for whether you should get a desktop or a laptop, it depends on your needs. Unless you need the portability of a laptop (which I'm assuming that you don't), you should get a desktop.
_____
Also, a computer could last you many years provided that you done proper maintenance to your computer and your needs in a computer haven't increase. For example, I personally had an office computer for 8 years. Why do I need to upgrade, if I'm just web browsing and doing spreadsheet work?
How to fix power supply?
Also what kind of comp should I get?

I laughed out loud...thank you
If you continuously replace hardware, but I've worked on service desks in the past and most of the companies I've been in has followed the standard where I.T equipment is replaced every 3 years. This can also be applied to consumer use, it's recommended, but not mandatory, though I have not yet seen a desktop last 8 years without having the hardware being interchanged with new parts.
I still have a Desktop running 2000 with its original hardware. I stopped using it about four years ago, though.
@oneup11: Computer stores don't carry computer parts. What I see wrong with his computer is that his power supply isn't working.
@IHasSteelyz: That isn't going to work because he can't turn the computer on, and you don't even have another hard drive to replace it. And you don't use vacuums to clean dust, and that won't help.
Well thanks i might just get a new computer since its not working, o well........
Should i get a desktop or a or a laptop?
And a Vista,Windows 7, or a Apple?
Computer equipment life cycle is 3 years, I think your computer was due to die now or a few months down the track. The freezing could probably lead to your hardware either overheating or failing, or both. I wouldn't suggest you pay money to get a technician to tell you that it's not repairable, perhaps look around sites or stores for a new computer, basic computers could be as low as $200 - 400, basic gaming ones are like $550-600+ (Someone could probably find a precise price, mine were estimates)
Laptops are made to last for six years at least, two battery chargers worth is the general rule. Desktops are meant to last longer than laptops, probably around eight years.
Thanks for the suggestions ill try i guess... More help will be helpful
Rip it apart, carefully remove hard drive, then get your files off the hard drive using someone elses computer.
Then, you are free to work on the computer without loosing your data.
Try getting a vacuum and removing all the dust in the computer. You might need a few screwdrivers...
You don't tell someone who doesn't know how to properly work on a computer that...
Lol, Well the last thing i did the night before was that the computer froze and turned off...
So i just left it off for the night, I dont know if that would affect it.
Also the pc is Vista and its like 4 years old i think

Uh-oh. You'll have to send it back to who made you computer, I doubt any store that fixes computers will be able to fix your computer.
The only thing I can think of is that the computer over-heated or something got fried >.>
as @oneup11 said it would be best if you just took it to a repair shop. GL with your computer.
Still not working
Well like I said everything is already plugged in
Check the power cable again.
Plug it out, and back in.
