I have rush left mapped to Ranalog left, rush right on Ranalog right, FT spam mapped to Ranalog up, and OSFB spam mapped to Ranalog down.
Don't forget, Start and Back can be used as well.

Er... you can bind CS to a button. I have mine mapped to LB.
You might need to put it in a macro then the macro on a key then the key on LB.
Or you could try experimenting with the free program called xpadder, it will let you map amputee hamsters on rings of Saturn, if you want.

If you can fix your ergonomic problem (sore fingers aren't fun, get a controller or remap your keys), a 150 Attack partisan and 50% Str will do very well on an Aran. No, you won't encounter the overkill problem.

Okay. Arans are definitely worth funding, and everyone that is saying not to fund them just doesn't like to play classes for the fun of it lol Lemme just say that just because it's easier to cap on an aran than any other class, that still doesn't make it easy.

I have a bout 50%str and in future 150att ish partisan
I want to make my aran my new main as well so I'm transferring my lionheart gear from my DrK.
My finger is sore as hell though lololol

@Marxism: It's cool, it made sense but i have yet to meet someone in the aran forums who refers to that as combo =0. And this is a bit off topic but it's pretty funny and cool to see yourself being quoted by a person with the name "Marxism."

the only way i did understand you is because im an aran and i've delve pretty deep about my own personal class. But my point is you should be more specific; its so vague to say combo to mean os + fb, which will lead to confusion for the massive amounts of players who haven't read anything about arans let alone the new hyper skills and how they function along side the regular fourth job attacks.

@Marxism: If your going to talk to me about my class please be specific. End of my combo? I'm assuming u mean overswing+final blow. Ive never had anyone refer to that as a combo cause "combo" is so loose it could mean nything when dealing with the aran class. And yes i would like to see os and fb be able to surpass the dmg cap but i don't mind anymore cause they gave us beyonder which surpasses the dmg cap and if i were to be able to hit cap also on beyonder it will boost my dps by a whole lot. Course Arans won't be no way near angelic burster but we like being balanced and not overly op.

This brings me to our "weak" stature. I don't know why we are classified as so weak compared to others. Look at Pallies.

I think we get picked on for being weak because our unique traits makes us more "visible" towards other weak classes. We are FAR from the weak tier list.

Like others have said, the main reason people say not to over-fund and Aran is because of how limiting the damage cap is.
We're definitely a great class for the less-funded people. We hit really hard, but the main issue is our attacks aren't exactly the fastest. Once you hit consistent caps (which is really easy for us), there really isn't much room for improvement. If that's something that doesn't suit your fancy, maybe think of another class.

After the first combo you can go from Final Blow > Beyonder > Final Blow > Beyonder repeat.

@SirOrnstein: Sorry, I'm calling BS. Unless you have high Dex, 78% Str should give you a much better result than 50k range.

i find aran fun to play since pre big bang, just play whats fun for you if u ask me

LOL they tell you so because aran's dont need funding to hit high. Im 150 with about 78% str and have a 46 - 51k Range unbuffed.
