Confusion on Forum Types

This is what I want to say to @mrbasil...

Dear @mrbasil,

I know that it is needed for people to put their threads in the appropriate forum, but this rule worries newbies who do not know much about the forum types.

Once, I talked a subject about "Who would be the next company taking MapleStory" and I thought that it was something to chat about, but my forum was considered in the wrong forum and they placed it there and gave me a warning.

I guess there should be a tutorial on forum types as to not confuse anyone. Also, for those accounts made within ten days should be spared from misplacing threads.

Yours sincerely,
@questlqy

Also, Mr. Basil doesn't often see individual messages in the forums. When you have a suggestion for the site it's best if you submit a ticket with it which goes directly to him.
Go to "BasilID" in the top menu bar on the page then select "Submit ticket" from the dropdown menu, and then "I have a suggestion" from the list of subjects.

As far as misplaced threads, the rule about using the correct forum isn't very rigidly enforced, and usually a misplaced thread will just be moved to a more appropriate section. It's only when someone continually starts threads in the wrong sections, or very obviously demonstrates (often by posting something like "wrong section but I don't care" ), that suspensions for breaking that rule are applied.

That wasn't a Warning. When a moderator moves someone's thread the user receives an automated message (which may be a bit intimidating, but ultimately it's harmless). I also get it when I move a thread of my own. Nothing's been logged, there's nothing to worry about. Your record's empty.

What's so bad about a warning?
