being chaptered from the army
So I'm currently in my AIT job training and long story short- I wanna go to my platoon ssg and request separation from the military (request to be chaptered). I don't have an accurate guess on how long being chaptered takes, because during BCT, people were able to get out within a few weeks, while here, I here stories of people f-ing up and being chaptered after 2 months. Basically, my question is: how long would it take me to be chaptered out and sent home if I were to start the paper work this weekend?

I think you already know the best way to find this out. You said it in the first post.

1. Go to platoon ssg
2. Ask question or outright request separation
If this is something you are serious about and you have to go through the platoon ssg anyway, there should be no reason not to ask him/her for details and specifics on the process. He/she will also be able to give you the most reliable and accurate answers.
@EquineBM Trust me, the military isn't how you think it would be... it may seem cool and interesting to join, but once you're out of BCT or AIT, you realize that you signed up for the wrong thing...
eh, that site seems too complicated... I just want simple answers from experienced people
@yesno I know this isn't the best place for a topic like this, but I'm sure that there are some experienced military personnel around this website somewhere... :l
