Rapid Fire 30
Hello everyone,
I made a pirate the other day and turned into a corsair today. I went to max Rapid Fire to 30 with a mastery book, but it is telling me that I cannot use it. Rapid Fire is currently at 20 in my skill book, so I am a bit confused. Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a long known glitch?
I apologize if this is known or has been posted before, but I am not at all familiar yet with the corsair class. Any help or feedback is appreciated.

@MyGunner: Yeah, but it gets to a point where spamming it is faster/more practical than mount cancelling and curious of when that point happens. Have a feeling that with max speed and the 1190ms delay that spamming it might be better.
It's kind of like headshot in a sense. Headshot can be helpful, but the conditions for it to be useful requires absolute perfect cancelling where it's to the point it's not really practical to even attempt it and spamming rapid fire is better.
@Rosencroft: Well, I think it takes about a second to mount/dismount ship so if the delay is less than that then mount cancelling might be completely pointless if have the 1190 delay. It's useful if have the huge 1710ms since it's so slow.
@Rosencroft: You know the delay if was at max speed with 1190ms(subbomb speed)? Just curious if mount cancelling is even worth it if it has the 1190ms delay. If it will have the 1710 ms delay then it's obviously worth it, but if has the 1190ms delay then that's another thing to consider.
One big question. How the hell do you get to 120 in day f7.
@Rosencroft: well, only need booster+any other speed increasing thing for max speed. What's the delay of just max speed+gms's delay of fusillade you know?
@Rosencroft: Just, eh with booster and new delay still not even sure it's worth mount cancelling. And also curious of how useful it is if have a battle mage or buccaneer or even decent speed infusion along with the new delay since just makes it even faster.
@Rosencroft: Oh cool. Wonder if marco is faster or not and if it's even worth doing if our delay really is shorter than in kms.

I will use the ship and cannon for now. I just made a pirate and I am already going to miss it! How could they get rid of it? The ship is absolutely adorable!
Would you guys happen to know if the ship mount will disappear too?

@ShainaBear: First welcome to the world of pirates. Every book for adventurer Pirates in general has been glitched since the Thief revamp. Currently we can use the post revamp rapid fire books and that's it. If you get your hands on another Rapid Fire 30 book use that and see if it is a post revamp book. There is no way to tell them apart. Also until the revamp might as well just use Ship and Cannon. Better damage output overall until the revamp.[/quote]

Our Job IDs changed, so we're not recognized as Corsairs. We only gotta wait a week more, though...

No problem, and ahh your lucky able pass ts the rapid fire 20, I realized i couldn't after i bought all the books. Now they're all just sitting there

Yea unfortunately all pirate masterybooks are glitched so meaning you cant use them. We have to either wait till they fix it,(dont think its gonna happen) or wait till august 8 when they revamp us, then books should start working again.
