Thoughts on dubai?
i think dubai is the most richest city in the world and lots of skyscrapers i should say i even love that tallest building in the world <3
im planning to take a vacation in dubai one day

Dubai is pretty much the capital of the world right now. It's a great place to go for business and real estate.
Also a fantastic vacation spot. The UAE seems to be doing it right balancing their domestic economy with tourism.
@scorpio989 We have more oil than you think. And by the time the world's oil supply is legitimately threatened we would already have the widespread infrastructure in place to bring in new forms of energy.
Don't listen to all the crap you hear about 'peak' oil, it's such propaganda, there are untapped oil reserves all around the world, we've barely even began to touch the oil sands in Canada. Oil will continue to power the world for at least the next 100 - 150 years.

UAE is one of the only Middle Eastern Countries to actually focus on the future. To be perfectly honest though, their future is unlikely to be successful. Right now their main source of income is oil, and since oil is running out and being replaced that doesn't give them tons of time. They are hoping that the Middle East will use their country as a business hub in the future. This plan is a gamble because its hoping that the Middle East will become more open and survive the effects of global warming and population growth... Which is unlikely to say the least.
Sad to think all those amazing manmade island are going to be underwater soon...

Well, I'd love to work there for like a few years since there's barely any tax. I wouldn't want to live there though.
