They'll probably make a season 2 after all the success they had with season 1, at least I hope so. Hopefully they'll focus more on the FPS elements of Gun Gale, since I was really disappointed with the lack of magic in ALO. If they were just going to have Kirito use a sword for the majority of ALO, why not just skip that entirely and continue to the 100th floor of SAO? Only thing I really liked were the Cait Sith in ALO.
haha nah they aren't making a season 2. GGO and Underworld are just in the light novel... and im pretty sure they're just making SAO special eps, non-related to the actual light novel series.
It's not even a bandwagon to say that we didn't like it. I admit, I really enjoyed SOA at first but they just didn't have enough episodes needed to really give the viewer what SOA is all about. They started to cut out a lot of things that were important which left many plot holes. When the series went into the ALO arc, shxt just got weird.. Asuna getting groped all over by tentacles and the implications that she was "played with" by Oberon.. And when he was going to strip her naked and do the dirty in front of Kirito was just too much for me.
But it did receive a decent amount of success and there will most likely be a season 2.
We have to wait to see the blue ray & dvd sales. But I will say that the anime team did not do a good job on the adaptation. If you want to know exactly what happens, read the novel. @powermage22 yea ikr, little kids on basil don't have an opinion of their own, that's why there are all kind of bandwagons on basil xD

I facepalmed when they didn't really had to climb to the top; just kill Heathcliff.
The SAO part ended too quickly IMO, they should have ended that arc at the 100th floor. >.<
