Reusing Galaxy phone
Hey, I had a question and randomly thought maybe one of the places I asked was basilmarket.
A friend of mine just upgraded his phone from the first Samsung Galaxy to a Galaxy S3. He gave me the old one and said if I could use it I can keep it. I have a crappy phone on a unlimited text/call plan with Verizon and the phone he gave me he had on a U.S. Cellular plan. Can I take it into a verizon store and get my number put on it?
One of the reasons he upgraded is because US Cellular isn't going to be providing service in this area anymore. I just want to put my phone number on it, not get a new dataplan. As it is I only pay 10$ a month on my families plan.
Any ideas?
