What are your thoughts about Omok?

Hello Basilers,

I am conducting a survey for various reasons.

What are your thoughts on Omok?

Do you play Omok?

Do you feel that it needs tweaks of some sort?

Do you think new features, such as tournament mode where you can compete with friends/strangers in tournaments/championships or being able to send out invitations to play, should be implemented to the game?

What improvements do you think could be made? Improvements could be such as tweaking the double-3's system or completely eliminating it. Although this double-3's system could be annoying at times, this could also be a game saver at times.

What features do you have in mind that Omok should have?

Leave your thoughts and ideas in the comments.

EDIT: Yes, I understand that the double-3's system is in effect that with the system, this avoids the game being ended too soon. I also understand the fact that the game is glitched where only 5-in-a-rows count as a win and anything besides having five pieces do not count. However, are there any other implementations/improvements that could be made to the game? What are your thoughts if you could invite people to play rather than having them manually enter the room? Would you support a tournament style system? A save system where your progress could be saved for later, say up to 24 hours? How about being able to play against a computer with various degrees of difficulty?

EDIT 2: I am now aware that the official rules of Gomoku state that overlines are not permitted.

Oh, right it's because the first example technically has no "Open" 3 but the second does not have an "Open" 3 it has a 3 and a 4 (Which isn't allowed in Gomoku but since Maplestory is korean the korean rules allow it)

@Kevkevini: no, 3/4s are allowed sometimes while they aren't allowed sometimes.
If you had this.

O O X
X X A X
O O X
You can place at A, it is allowed.
However if you have this.
O X
X A X
O X
O X

You cannot place at A even though technically it is a 3/4 combo.

Spaces are broken in Basilmarket, trying again to make it more clear.
The three I have tried are as follows:

Gomoku++
Simply Gomoku Online
Master of Gomoku

I enjoyed all three of them, however "Master of Gomoku" had less accurate piece placement in comparison to the others since it lacked the "touch and hold" system. However, none of these three had all of the official Gomoku rules when I played them.
I see. Thank you kindly for posting me these links. It appears that I am not the first to think of converting this game to an application.
Speaking of the official Gomoku rules, do you or anyone else happen to know of an iPhone application which enforces them? The few I've tried seem to have no limitations what so ever.
Would you mind giving me a link to the iPhone applications that you previously tried out if possible? I am currently amassing data from the population, albeit there may be lurking variables, to create an application for iOS that would be similar to Gomoku.
Double 3 rule is in effect because there is a forced way to win using double 3s.
However the big glitches are 6 in a row doesn't win and sometimes omok mistakenly says something is a double 3 when infact its a killer 3/4 combo.
It isn't a glitch, getting over 5 in a row is called an overline and does not count and there is no 3/4's allowed because it's still a variation of 3/3 (both of these are the official rules)

They shouldn't change the rules cause those are the official rules for gomoku (The actual game) and the double 3 rule is essential to play or else games would be over too fast and no strategy would be involved.
