In Finnish it's "Suomi". Suo means swamp so that is most like where the name is from. Swedish called us "Finns" (back when Finland area was still part of Sweden). After that they named the area "Finn Land" -> "Finland". Other languages took it from Swedish, cause Finland is closer to English than "Suomi".
