Why is life so

Just been thinking about life. I've been having these up and down days for quite sometime now. What's the point of even trying in a corrupted world like this. There has to be a meaning to life but, I haven't found anything that could be. Everyday just feels like a struggle to get up and know that everyday has the same amount of time, same routine, not even knowing what the hell you're actually doing.
Why is there this unsatiable pain that we have to go through, why is it that we can't live in peace, and that it's so hard to actually understand one another. I feel as one person I doubt I can even make a change in someone's life. Sincerely truly doubt anyone really does care for someone and even the people that are close to it will just backstab you in the end. Friends you might think they're here for you but in the end they aren't. Everything seems like a lie and nothing is happening like what i want it to be but I guess that's life. Feeling alone, bitter, looking forward to nothing. School is a drag, grades are so tiring to work for, friends can't even understand you, feeling so lost and alone, and I feel like giving up.
Thank you to whoever read that...just my thoughts in my life so far. Yep.
look into the eyes of the man on the operating table and tell me that its not important what you do next. Look into the eyes of the ones you love and tell me that they are "insignificant". Life has a beginning and an ending, that much is true. But what occurs in the middle completely differs from person to person, choice to choice.

It also sounds like your saying that somehow hard work and sacrifice means that a person can't be happy, as if somehow no one in this world has something to fight for, something to die for. There are certain types of happiness that cannot be obtained simply by "sticking around" and "taking the back seat". Sometimes, happiness is at the end of the line, after all your blood, sweat and tears and let me tell you, that happiness makes normal happiness look like nothing.
No no, you misinterperate what I said, yes AS relitives to me those people are important but in the universe my mom is just another human being that's living and will die, there's nothing special about that, just like everyone else. To me she's important, and I make the most of the time with her because I know that just like everyone else she'll go too eventually.

Blood Sweat and Tears can make happiness, if you're working for something you want to. My point was if you're bleeding and sweating and tearing to impress your parents by being a doctors when you want to be a construction worker, you cannot be happy living the life someone else projected for you. Only bleed sweat and tear for what YOU want, that will make you happy is what I mean. But I understand how you interprited my post.

Here's my take from one wonderer to another. As far as I've figured everyone lives, and dies, it doesn't matter what you do, it's enevitable and everyone knows that, so why waste time on "Important things" Why work to become a Doctor for the money if you're going to live an unhappy life. Why read that book for school when you're faced with a better option. Enjoy life while it's here and live doing what you want to do, if you're happy that's what matters because in the universe you're insignificant. It may almost sound like a point coming from a drop-out no life. But I'm in College studying Video Game Design, not the best pay, but if I can go to work with a smile, and leave with one it doesn't matter what I do.

Heck, not trying to toot my own horn but if I applied my brain to my school work back in highschool I certainly could have made many awards, high marks in HARD classes, well as hard as they come here anyways Calc, Physics, all AP or wahtever they call em in the USA lmao, but I spent my time enjoying my insignificant portion of the universe, time and space enjoying my life with friends, games etc and let the promise of a "rich" future fall to the wayside because I dont want a lot in life. I want to make games, and have a family, doesnt matter how, or where if we're happy. Nothing else matters. Enjoy life because it goes fast, scarily fast if you sweat the small stuff.

I DEEPLY Suggest you check out the movie "The Art of Getting By" Get's into a lot of deep "Meaning of life and love" junk. Hit home hard for me. Drift on in the universe friend. Don't let the man get you down.
Joe Rogan's podcasts are amazing, he has so many profound insights.

OT: Wow when did Basiler's become philosophers? Some awesome advice and perception in this thread!
Basil isn't really as asshole-ish as people make it out to be. You just have to coax it out of people or else they'll just goof off. If anything, we're full of people who are too smart for their own good and end up being socially stupid.

Every day can't be the best day
Do what you can right now, don't hesitate
That's why we try to make love and get paid
Take the bad with the good, now let's play

Life is pretty sweet once you stop worrying about stuff like that. Way I see it is, no purpose in life exists. You just go about your life and create meaning for yourself. Why shouldn't that really deep connection with your best friend not be meaningful or that cute girl that you keep talking to not be meaningful to you? You influence people by being a happy person in control of their life (srs).

My advice is to just chill out, stop worrying about abstract stuff like that and the corrupt system and just have fun in life. Do the things you like and don't sweat it. You'll be surprised how happy you can be if you follow this more humble philosophy. Friends come and go. Just be happy about the good times and leave it at that. Stay posi x

Eh I understand how you feel. Especially about the friends part.
In my last case I saved an (online) "Best" friend's life (he said bye to me before attempting suicide, i contacted his sister which went to check on him and soon after he was brought into ICU) - but as reward (after we had a kinda "fight" shortly after) he just ditched my ass and acted as if he doesn't know my name anymore and I'm some stranger who's part of his past and everything.
Screw friends.
Especially screw emo/depressed "friends", neither of them is able to be loyal or sincere.

Anyway, if you look at life it actually isn't all that bad. Sure, the routine you might be stuck in is always the same - but the world out there is much more interesting, and I'm not (only) speaking of other cities and countries. The "world" starts outside of your door.
If you learn to watch, appreciate and enjoy nature you'll have many things to brighten your day.
Sometimes at work when a cool breeze from outside hits my skin or I hear the rain falling on the roof it relaxes me and I feel that something is "out there", that something is in motion.

Dunno how to explain~
Aaaaand once you found a loyal and loving partner everything will be much nicer, too. But either way you should make the best out of life and try to enjoy all the tiny things out there (and may it just be a butterfly crossing your way )

I feel you right now. My motivation has been once I get out of this academia hell hole, I'm gonna go out and see the world and take pictures and make art out of my experiences. Things like looking at serene places like a quiet city street or waves crashing on cliffs make me euphoric. Nothing pessimistic really even crosses my mind deliberately when I find my gaze lost in that. You just need something that you know that will make you happy, that's all.
