Battlemage

A wee pro tip for those who don't know.

I actually started doing this on my f/p mage when I took it to kill bosses, but it turns out that any mage can use this strategy provided that the player has fast enough fingers.

It's possible to add a pseudo-extra hit to your attacks by using Teleport (with Teleport Mastery of course) while using a Blow attack--even when using The Finisher. After all, as I'm sure you all know by now, it's possible to use a Blow attack, teleport, and then use the finisher. This is because Teleport is still usable when caught in a skill delay.

The method for adding the pseudo-extra hit, then, is simple. While still in the delay for a Blow attack, up-teleport, effectively striking a Teleport hit while standing in place. This is less convenient in multi-layered maps, of course, but we don't train too often in those anyway.

The result is a primitive version of Finish Blow, but 50 levels early. Telecasting is a wonderful thing indeed.

Before Big Bang this was hardly relevant. You could still telecast, but up-teleportation in place was a pointless endeavor before Tele Mastery came about.

I enjoy using it immensely now, of course. It also saves my f/p the trouble of using the MP-costly and slow Explosion to kill 1HP mobs.

Telecasting. I use it with my i/l all the time.
This just works because Finisher is activated and linked to blow attacks, so the game counts it as 1 attack.

It's commonly known by now I think. However, the ability to do this consistently and often is another story. I find myself often forgetting or just not doing it.

Ultimate love for the use of "wee" in the title.

Already knew this, I use this when my hp is really low. It gets your hp back up so quick.

He's talking about tele-casting. The act of tele'ing while using a skill. Since Telemastery now adds damage Tele-casting will also add additional damage. I do this all the time using quintuple blow, except I just telecast through the mobs instead of up, as it adds more movement control.

Another pro-tip is that if you've just finished off mobs you can telecast Finisher to give it extra range, provided you tele before you activate Finisher and not after.
