Good bye shakar96
I know your reputation wasn't the best, but I still stuck with you and your blog.
If you read this, I'd like to say thanks for devoting time to your blog and informing me and others about the future updates.
I hope you move onto better things

oh nooooo
ill miss u i will
@xKlaudex: Yes, it is the most recent video he has posted. Look in the comments section.
You are wrong and I am right,
Rejected. I clarified my points clearly. You on the other hand, did not.
You're blinded by your own logic and refused any other claim that would seem plausible. Quick to conclusions without previously thinking of any other solution but one. The exciting, comprehensive, and in depth conversation we delved into has evaporated.
Spadow stopped a long time ago, and now Shakar. Good for them - they have more time for their lives.
yearning for debates, and the pure satisfaction you feel when you completely thrash someone's disposition apart.
Implying that this is what you want, I can assume you like to always be right. Even when you're wrong.
Opinion. Learn it. Ever wonder why people say they get trolled by a Gachapon? Ever wonder why someone who "tawks lioek dis" is considered a troll? Ever seen someone play a drop game where a person kept dropping a ETC. while someone continually dropped a whole plethora of different equips costing at least 100m being called a troll?
There's a reason. Because the term troll has no concrete definition. Everyone has a different definition for it, you do as well. You can be as passionate as you want, you're not changing my mind or anyone that doesn't already agree with you.
Please PM me and explain what happened, I am so confused right now. I know who he is, I am just confused
As if you were rational to begin with. Your second post was detrimental to this thread in the first place.
I edited my post to respond to the post of yours directly above mines. Reexamine it.
Also you're retarded. Go back and read my posts and call me when you've put together a true rebuttal.
Unnecessary, seeing as you resorted to blunt, childish, and generic insults rather than rational arguments gives me no intention of a claim.
I no longer take you seriously.
wtf shakar is quiting. wow this game is dying...
You have no argument. What you say is trolling is people acting out on primal and irrational emotions done just to elicit responses. That is not trolling, I've told you that several times now.
My compact explanation of how things come to be on the internet clearly went right over your head. Look up the word "conditioning" in the dictionary and try this post again.
Back to the topic at hand, Shakar is not a troll you dense moronic pleb.
I would agree if I agreed that trolling only has one definition, but no.
He was hated for trolling?
Was this Shakar guy really that good? Could someone please provide me with more information/sources about his 'trolling' antics?
Not famous, though he has a seemingly well known website. Otherwise he's just your normal everyday troll, in my opinion.
He was hated for trolling?
I and the internet defines trolling as being.
Assuming internet is a mere gathering post for casuals to invent definitions for previously defined words. The word "troll" is a slang term anyway.
That last bit I quoted from you will finish my argument.
Hardly. As I said in the post of mines you just quoted, if evoking replies is your definition of trolling then everyone in the history of anything is a troll, which is simply not true.
Evoking replies with nothing attempting to severely derail the main topic of a thread/subject. Let me add that he made it empty post quite large that it nearly filled up what a normal page should look like.
You're right on the last bit. But that implies people say something.
People want to be able to distinguish what is a troll, so it has a definition. I specified wanting you to treat the word as a verb because I want you to tell me what you think trolling is, not what a troll [person] is.
Trolling has more than one definition, just as a good percentage of official dictionary words as well as slang have more than one meaning.
-A troll can be one who derails topics.
-One who makes fun of another, implying the internet, you would probably call it a different word in real life.
-One who takes any moment to correct post in a disrespectful manner, whether by spelling or grammar errors, etc.
-One who create arguments with false conclusions trying to manipulate other players, as you said.
-One who aims to kill you if you AFK or if you're too low a level for specific monsters by luring them to you, implying Maple Story.
-More, more, and more.
I procured my mindset from experience and conditioning. This isn't about me.
I don't know what you mean here. Are you saying you're oblivious to trolling? Because I am as well.
Starting arguments isn't trolling, it's yearning for debates, and the pure satisfaction you feel when you completely thrash someone's disposition apart. If starting an argument can be considered trolling for the sole reason that it gets people to respond to you then everyone in the history if the universe is a troll.
My remark which you quoted word for word was to explain that not all trolls are so well thought out and intricate as the one I described. Some of them are simply several word phrases or twists on phrases. A popular one you've probably heard is "hey athiests."
Any troll you can dig up in existence can be described as being as I mapped out earlier. Try to prove me wrong, or even better try to define the verb "troll" yourself.
It's still going by your opinion of what a troll is.
He attempted to entice an argument by submitting empty post. That is my idea of trolling.
Verb/Noun. Tell me, where did you get your definition of "troll." I can already assume where it came from, but tell me yourself.
That isn't trolling though. Trolling is consciously fabricating a fundamentally faulty argument based on either emotions or anecdotes and taunting people to challenge your feigned beliefs. To successfully troll is to drag out this fake argument as long as possible.
Not all "trolls" are as elaborate as this, but this is what defines trolling in any circumstance. Scamming someone is not trolling. Getting a crappy potential when you cube an equip is not being trolled. Calling someone an idiot is not trolling. Shakar isn't a troll.
Don't blind yourself. Everything you're saying is an opinion. If he's not trolling, explain to me what he is doing. Going on a thread to entice an argument. Besides, that's only one example, there are plenty more.
You said "Not all trolls are as elaborate." That contradicts your whole post.
now i'm like
later foo
In what context? I know this may be hard to do if you've deleted your history recently (or at all), but if you could show me an example I'd appreciate it.
Provoking people for the sake of eliciting a response =/= trolling. When people are wrong, taking a condescending approach to the subject doesn't equate to trolling if that's what you've seen him do.
Let's see if i can find it.
EDIT: Nope couldn't find it, forum post deletes itself after a set period. The thread he posted in was made a few months ago.
But, he was the very first poster, and what it said in the post was.....nothing. Just a big empty space with no text.
Shakar never "trolls." He might damage control with something along the lines of "jokes on you I was only pretending to be retarded," but every post he's ever made is legitimately the product of his inner workings.
I don't know what kind of crack you smoke. I've seen plenty of trolling.
@Croodle: Was it a recent one?
I've seen quite a few of his posts on Ellin Forest and he seems to be playing Maple somewhat actively.
lol i liked him he was funny, a blog that wasn't so serious, although people didnt take that too well -.- hence the reputation. But nevertheless A sad goodbye on my part. And i wish him good luck on what ever he's planning
The only notable blogger before Max and Shakar was Spadow; That makes for 3 well known bloggers. Saying that Maple is dying because 2 bloggers have stopped writing blogs about the game is absurd.
It should also be noted that Spadow still plays Maple.
Though Spadow did state in one of his videos that he is getting real bored of maple.
man i like checked his blog everyday like id check his and then orange mushrroms but always his first i like his trolling kept it fresh
Can someone answer everyones effing question, what did he do to offense so many people ?
I'm not sure on the details myself but apparently he was a huge troll? on sites like basil and stuff and it annoyed people
Aww, I liked him! Stop banging on him guys, he's obviously learned his lesson(or at least he pretends to have)!
Let's face it. MapleStory is dying, along with its bloggers. Lets see how long Max will last.
@SaltyBlocks
I never really saw his posts on basil (or any other site for that matter other than his own) so I cant really say much, but he seemed like a complicated guy from his goodbye post so its whatever, besides he apologized, im not saying people should forgive him but at least lighten up on the guy.
I forgive him after his apology.
Well, I never respected the guy SO much either, but he did give some good news.
I await Max's statement, if he ever makes one.
@SaltyBlocks: okay mister, go ahead and say whatever you want. hope you are happy
Well i didnt really respect you, but ur blog were pretty funny when i went on them. good bye shar. its sad to see another mapler go but alas it must be.
I liked the guy.
@SaltyBlocks: i'm just saying you should focus your energy on something else, than degrading some guy who posts maplestory info..
Hmm, unexpected. I remember making him a banner for his blog a long time ago.
@SaltyBlocks: Honestly, I don't care about shakar, and never really went to his wordpress.
Shakar never "trolls." He might damage control with something along the lines of "jokes on you I was only pretending to be retarded," but every post he's ever made is legitimately the product of his inner workings.
ok calm your teets
he was infamous? why?
never heard of him.
why would someone invest so much time into a blog for a game they claim to have not played in 6 years? stupid.
As much as I fought with him.
He was really cool.
Aww, I actually liked his troll posts. They were usually funny.
Yeah that's really sad, good bye Shakar

"My reputation wasn't the "greatest" in any of the forums. In fact, it was terrible. It was my stupidity for joining gaming forums in the first place, because I obviously don't belong there. I feel extremely terrible about all the harm I've done to all the people in the forums, I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking. I would like to take this opportunity to say that I'm sorry for everything bad I've done."
What a loser. (Shakar)
@dorks it was but I kept the original anyways
Edit: at ^ thanks
Fixed it for all of you.
@shakar962: "Alas."
he still has a account on gs
I thought his Basil account was deleted a while ago.
