so for a luminous which soul should i use STR mu gong or MA magnus?

unless you're bossing a lot i'd probably just stick magnus, because the MA addition will help overall in just training. (the mu gong soul buff isn't going to be active all the time enough to justify using it)
But if you're bossing a lot, and you want that mu gong soul buff, then use that instead.
