Religion threads in a nutshell
Topic is usually something that sets the stage for a flame war, or maybe it's some casual question like "what religion are u?" or something (doesn't really matter).
1st page: "lol, flame war incoming", some guys claim to be religious or atheist then just leave the thread. Some other atheist, or whoever, decides to add fuel to the fire by questioning another person's beliefs.
(several pages later)
11th page: Various paragraphs/walls of flame everywhere because the posters have nothing better to do with their lives but participate in arguments with Anonymous Internet denizens.
Seriously, cut it with the religion threads. All they do is bring more unnecessary hate on Basil.

I used the phrase calling everyone an idiot to refer to your condescending writing that you use. It's clear your writing is meant to evoke a sense of anger; like you have something to prove and need to call everyone else down to do it. That is why you thought I was "madfurious" earlier.
There's no need to write to everyone like you're better than them, which, in any case, you've shown you're not.
@NayaVivant: I do not seek the attention of anyone whose opinions about myself do not matter nor do I need to seek to prove a point that has already proven itself time and time again. If [b]you[/b] truly did not care for attention, you would not have responded in the first place. I simply wish to better the Maple Story community as a whole by disproving the arguments of a person who:
1. Does not use logic
2. Does not use facts
3. Claims to be perfect
It is irrelevant what the purpose of this site is for. What is relevant is whether or not people can discuss their views without somebody coming in and deifying himself whilst calling everyone an idiot.

@NayaVivant: Why would I seek the approval of a child, or anyone for that matter? I'm not desperately requiring attention like some other person. If you think that's a lavish example, than you need to expose yourself to more of the world.
Why would you feel flattered by somebody you perceive to be stupid trying to earn your approval? Great minds think alike, or in your case, don't.
For a moment I thought this thread would make a difference in my life.

You're the -perfect- example of what I mean. Everything you say starts a flame war. The sheer fact of claiming to be correct all the time is immature and stupid and it starts unnecessary confrontations. You argue like a little child. Actually, a better call would be to cut out the immature comments on Basil. We all understand that you have different beliefs. You don't need to call everyone an idiot who doesn't believe the same thing as you.
