I used so many protection scrolls trying to get my claw to 10 stars....its at 9....so ugly with one big star and 4 little stars ._.

The lucky day scrolls will work fine with the 40% dark scrolls. I am not familiar with the 1k NX shielding wards. It is really up to you, there are ways of scrolling the item without worrying about it booming, while for EEing you pretty much are forced to rely on protection scrolls.

There are three types of Protection Wards. The one from today's event, another one in the CS, and Superior Protection Wards. The one in the CS and today's event function the same, except one requires NX. They can't be used on Superior items. To Prot Superior items, you need Superior Prots, which are 9.9k NX.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with that one then. Perhaps they work on Tyrant but not Nova or Elite.

You are correct in that lucky day scrolls do not work with enhancements or potential scrolls, however that is not what he asked. It is a good addition to the advice if he was planning to do that, though.

Apparently it does not work on the Tyrant, Nova, Elite equips. I do not know why this is.

Nice edit lol, hope you realize the 20%s are going to be tough to complete a weapon without white scrolls. From what I can tell the 50%s are very high in price as of late so depending on your funding, this may be a good idea. It may also be wise to use clean slates until you run out then proceed using white scroll type items with the 50%s. One thing you must remember, if you fail a scroll and use all of your clean slates trying to get the slot back and none of them pass, you will be hard pressed to find more white scrolls that won't require you to use the protection scrolls you've been saving.

Protection scrolls are always good for EEing, it should strongly be considered to use them here. Just make sure you have the self control to hold on to them until the long process of making your endgame weapon is complete.

edit: Yes it appears some people are booming their weapons on EEs WITH the protection applied. I would hold off on attempting to EE until more information comes to light.

This is exactly what i would recommend using with the protection scrolls. If the chaos fails, your SCG's will not boom. HOWEVER, there is no guarantee that the weapon attack will increase, but it is guaranteed that it will not go down

From my experience it is safe to assume you are going to need more protection scrolls then you think. In terms of white scrolls.. I have heard rumors they were being deleted and have not seen a single one in the Kradia alliance in months. This is unfortunate since at the moment there are no similar CS items that can perform that task. I suppose you could rely on clean slates but just be aware of the consequences and do not assume you are going to have a lucky streak with those 40%s. Goodluck to you.
